" freedom of speech doesn't protect the speech that you like, it protects the speech that you hate "

The Current Issues racism thing blew off the top this week. Some kid got pissed off at people responding to his questions about what people thought about race and sexuality. The answers were not politically correct, and did use the " n " word. But this is what one person summed it up as " There are black people and there are n*****s, but there are also white people and white trash ". Not the best way to say something, but noneless true. There are bad people in any race. Even though I don't agree with the opinions said about homosexuals, what they said is protected under the constitution. Most importantly this little spoiled brat boy was offended by being called gay. To be offended by something you must think of it in a deroggatory way, therefore this guy thinks being gay is a bad thing.

I'm shocked that this kid was surprised at how others treated him. He got kicked out of his old school and is now brewing trouble at SMHS. He's one of those kids who thinks he's the shit because he smokes expensive European hand rolled cigarettes, and wears over priced ill-fitting clothing. " Oh, so he's going to die the European way in Armani clothes " I really don't side with either of them, just whining about things that don't apply to you is lame. Why people don't think the rules apply to them I do not know, but all I know is that by speaking out about how ridiculous this all is has gotten me a lot of positive feedback.

Tired...PSAT is tommarow. Dear lord does it sound like a drag. Today was a pretty average day, nothing new in school except for more math in science. I wish we'd do something cool soon...or an assembly would pop up. I forgot to write about my freaky experience in the La Fayette Wal*Mart. It seemed like the whole mountain town mosey'd on down to Wal*Mart for the Friday night shop. There were people missing teeth, kids with a zillion names and all of them really southern, and MULLETS like you would not believe. People stared at me because of my accent, it was that out in the boonies. You'd exepct these type of people to live in Alabama or Mississipii, but they're all in the Georgia mountains. Go visit them for a fun time.

Boring arse day...the peak was watching Canadian people talk about Polar Bears. Joy to God's green earth. I have problems.

Me last night:

Aloha PXOXO: Molly, you're smarter than the Governor of GA, get over it
Aloha P XOXO: i've been molested by a kindergartener
Aloha P XOXO: may the day glo mullet be with you

I apologize for my lack of control. Us crazy girls tend to be over emotional.
