I got done with work as quick as possible and came inside and sat down here and did this. I knew from the second I woke up that I wanted to get shit done-- fast. I'm not in the mood for anything today.

like updating my journal.

so let me take this medicine to quench my love for violent things. my swan song will be like a bullet laced in anger as the razor cuts a soft spot on your heel. each breath is getting slower. this war is getting harder to fight by myself. sick waves of bitter fashion ripped down the shield that i have. tears rain from above. do you see the life i lead? so follow me into the sun, and i will bleed the poisons dry. these bayonet scars never cease to blind the light shed from the beast, and all we do is hate. eyes shot from constant visions. angels are rendered useless. good has lost it's heart.

el oh el.

I love how you girls butcher all the country songs in your profiles. I love how you all think you're rednecks. I love how not even a year ago, you were all complaining cause you lived in a "hick town"... Blairstown is not a hick town, ladies... and you my friends, are not rednecks. Damn, I should hold like... Cowboy U at my house. none of you chicks would survive the mud, the blood, and the dust bitin'. I should throw you on Abra-cadabra and let him buck. see if you could handle the nail breaking and the makeup running.... get a life, ladies. go gucci shopping.

Help us remember that the rude person who cut us off in traffic is a single mother who worked nine hours that day and is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry, and spend a few precious moments with her children.

Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19 year old college student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his fear of not getting his student loans for next semester.

Remind us that the unkept looking homeless person, begging for money in the same spot every day, who we think should really get a job, is a slave to addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares.

Help us to remember that the old couple walking annoyingly slow through the store aisles and blocking our holiday shopping progress are savoring this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back last week, this will be the last year they Christmas shop together.

Remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear. Open our hearts, not just to those who are close to us, but to everyone. Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive, showing patience, empathy, and love.
