ahhh... to remember the good old days...

i remember ,many, many, MANY moons ago, when jess and i would be in her backyard at this huge bonfire, blowing up aerosol cans and listening to concrete blonde, and radiohead, and riding our bikes ALL over town, in the middle of the night, and i remember sneaking out of her basement at the old house, i remember clifton hill, i remember the puddle under the red street light on the corner of greiner and harris hill that looked like blood, i remember the innocence in EVERYTHING that we did..... i miss that innocence, i miss all of that, i miss the bonfires, and the concrete blonde, and the bikes, and clifton hill,(not DAVE tho =p), i miss all of that...... i miss jessica.... a hell of a lot!

argh
so, m-f, i have to wake up early to be to work at 630, and sat, and sun, are the only days that i can sleep in.... sooo, wtf was i doing up at 6am?!?!?!? (damn inner time clock) *grumbles*
well, last nite, mikey and i went to lancaster speedway and saw the "jet cars", those were so f'ing fast... at 175 mph, if you even blinked, you missed them... for those of you who don't know what a jet car is, (and don't feel bad, because up until last nite, i didn't either) they are cars that have... JET fuel in them! like we're talking VERY BIG flames comin' out of the tail pipe! but it was very cool.
so the point of that story was, i got home around midnight, WAY past my bedtime!

today is my boyfriend and my one year and 4 month anniversary.... no i know it isn't a big one, and no we aren't celebrating it but i am just mentioning it....
nothin' too new, i had to train a new girl in work today, and that means of course an 8 hour day, no break, no lunch....
there is one month and 2 days before my b-day, woohoo, i will be 24... i know it isn't a significant one but it is still my bday, and that means PRESENTS for me! yay!
ok, that is it... i want to turn off the 'puter before mikey gets home and greet him naked in the bedroom, for some good lovin'...(i know, i know the thought of me naked is scary, but mikey likes it... mikey likes it, get it?!?!? ha ha ha....

my very first entry!
well, i am sitting in a very air conditioned house right now, where it is like, 70 degrees, but feels like 30, and it is 80 something degrees outside, and I AM SOOO COLD! makes a lot of sense right, of course, i know i would be complaining just as much if my mom didn't have the air cranked! mike is out of town for the weekend with his dad, they went to watkins glen for the car races. i am spending the weekend with my mommy... we went to the art gallery today and saw the phillips collection exhibit, it was soooo very kewl! we went out to lunch afterwards... i have come to the conclusion that when mike is around, i just don't spend enough time with my mom and not to be pessimistic, but she IS older, and i need to start being with her more again. like last year, when we found out she had breast cancer, that scared the shit out of me, i thought i was going to lose my mother, my best friend... and i think once i realized that she was going to be okay through it all, that i just stopped spending as much time with her. but she is no spring chicken and i need to start respecting her a little more, and stop getting annoyed at her stupid little quirks, like the fact that she can not watch a 30 min tv show with out making a comment every other minute... (but i realize i do the same thing too, like mother like daughter right?!?) so at the gallery today, i suggested that we go to NYC again soon together, like around thanksgiving time. tomorrow is the mother/ daughter golf outing at her club that we are in... we have been doing that for the past ten years or more, with the exception of last year when she was so sick..... i guess what i am trying to say is... i love my mommy!
