today i went to oxford with a group of kids. we had a 2 hour bus ride. oxford was a really cute town. i bought a oxford university shirt. we walked around the town and then went on this history ride. that was pretty interesting it was a really long and slow ride. on the way back to london it began raining a ton. after i got home i went to this gift shop to return something and exchanged it for a tshirt for dylan instead. then i came back and got ready for dancing! we finally had a friday night in london!! so a bunch of us went clubbing. it was fun. leah and i went up and danced on the mini stage, after we went up other people began going up. on our way home on the tube we were so loud. we kept singing and then these two drunk british guys get on and they sing also. it was so funny. when we got back to the flats we all went upstairs and just talked for a bit.

yesterday i went to school. then i went to the tate modern. it was pretty unusual. i found out that i dont really like modern art. there was this one piece, it was a glass of water. well, that was supposed to be a oak tree. dont ask me how. when i got back from that i went to h&m with jess and jana. i got two shirts. then janna, jess, becca, megan and i went out to eat at cafe uno. then we went and got icecream and went into a london shop. i got my brother a shirt.

today was my last day of classes! i cant believe how fast the time went. i went and saw stomp today with reese. it was really entertaining, it was one of those plays that got the audience involved during the show. there is a sleep over at the flat above me so i will probably be there for the night. going to paris on monday!

today i had school. then becca, jess, jana and i went shopping. we went to this really cool store. i bought the cutest skirt. a couple of shirts. a jacket. i also got two bags. i loved this place. then we went to this really good chinese place. then we went to this bakery and got desert. then we met up with the group to go to shakespeares "twelfth night" at regent park. it was a good play, it got cold when the sun went down.

yesterday i went to church. then a bunch of us went to kensington palace. we toured the place. i got to see princess diana's dresses. they were so pretty. then we all went on a picnic to holland park. it was near notting gate. it was alot of fun. after we got home a ton of kids came over and we played mafia. that is such a fun game. then most of the kids left and the rest of us stayed up talking.

A group of girls and i went to the London Temple! It was about a 40 minute train ride away. It was so pretty there. There were so many flowers on the grounds. There were also these little ponds. Its so amazing how people are in a place at a right time. We get to the temple and one of the older girls goes in to talk to the temple workers. Turns out the people at the desk in the front are one of her friends grandparents from Utah. They both know each other so the temple workers make room for us.Then we met this random guy from California the day before and he turned out to be mormon. So he ended up going to the temple with us. We just showed up to the temple hoping we could all get in because we kept calling and didnt get an answer. Anyways, if we didnt have that guy that we had met, the temple wouldnt have had enough priesthood holders on staff. Isnt that just amazing though! The temple was just so beautiful inside. tonight i went and saw "the producers" with the group. it was a really good musical. afterwards some of us went and got milkshakes from ed's diner.

thursday we went to warwick castle. that was my favorite castle that i went to out of all the castles that i've seen. it was so amazing. we got there at 1130 and we left at 530. the time went by so fast. there was just tons to see. they had the prettiest gardens, which had peacocks in them. after the castle we went to stratford and got checked into our bed and breakfast's. then about 6 of us went to this indian restaurant to eat. it was so good. then we walked around the town. then we met up with a bunch of other kids and played mafia at there place.

yesterday we went to Anne Hathaways and Mary Ardens house. those were pretty cool houses. reese and i went shopping. i finally found some really cool sunglasses! then we had to go to A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Royal Shakespeare Theater. It was a pretty good play. Then we had a 2 hour bus ride home. We didnt get home till about 130am.

today i woke up around 8. I went to Buckingham palace with a group of people to see the changing of the guards. today it was different, they were practicing some special thing for the queens birthday which is in a couple of weeks. then i went out to eat with rose and jesse. we went to this italian place. then we met up with my art history class and went to the musuem. then some of us went to this london shop. then we went to cambden market. there were some really cool and unusual things. then we went to garfunkles for dinner. then we went to hyde park to look at the peter pan statue. when i got home my feet hurt so bad. becca, jess and i soaked are feet in the tub. that felt really relaxing.

today i had school. then i went to the national gallery with becca and jess. we were there for about an 1 1/2 hours. i was pretty sick of writing about paintings by the end. then jess and i went and got these really good sandwiches. then we went shopping on high street kensington. i got this really cute jean skirt. i went for a run today. i ran to hyde park then i ran through it. it was so nice. there were animals running around and birds singing. i didnt feel like i was in the city at all. then i came back and packed. the group is going to warwick and stratford. wont be back till late friday night. should be fun!

Today i had school. It went by pretty fast. Then a bunch of us went to St. Paul's Cathedral. That was really cool. It was so amazing inside and so big. We walked all the way to the top of the dome which was over 500 steps! It took along way to get up. We saw the most amazing view. Then i came back for a bit. Then jess, becca, reese and i went to wagamammas for dinner. I love that restaurant! Then a bunch of us were going to go on the London Eye but they closed at 9 and we got there at 930. But we got a really cool picture with Big Ben. Then we just walked around london. That was fun just doing that.

friday i woke up at 530 and went to the airport. anne marie picked me up! she was so cute, she brought an american flag and was waving it. then we went back to her place and hung out for a bit. she had to go to work for 2 hours so i took a nap. when she got home we ate dinner with her family. then one of her friends came over and we all got ready to go out. then we went to this bar/club place.

saturday we slept in till 12. then we drove to this city about 40 minutes away. i actually drove, it was just like the u.s. except the signs dont have words on them, they are just blank. we went shopping there. all the shops closed at 4 so we didnt have that much time. that night one of her friends came over and we watched this big european show that happens once a year. each country picks someone to sing and then they compete and all the countries vote at the end of the show. it was pretty interesting.

yesterday we went for a bike ride. then her dad took us out on the water for a sail boat ride. that was tons of fun, i have never been on a sail boat before! then we went for a walk, i was a pretty active this weekend. then we went and rented "little black book" from blockbuster.

today i flew back to london. the whole group had to go watch a play at the shakespeare globe. we saw pericles. it was pretty good. it was really cold though. afterwards some of us went to starbucks. i got this really good chocolate cake.

yesterday the group went to the tower of london. that was pretty neat to see. i got to see london bridge! when i got home i worked on my shakespeare paper. it was about a midsummer night's dream. later on i went up the girls flat upstairs. hung out there for awhile.

today i had school. then becca, jess and i went to high street kensington to go shopping. it began rainy so we went home early because its not fun to walk in the rain. we made spaghetti for dinner. i packed for denmark. later on in the night some of us went to this place called Ed's Diner.

today i had school. then went to the national gallery with becca, jess, rose, brian and jessy. then jess and i stopped at this convientent store close to the laundry place to give the owner a pound. yesterday i ran out of coins so he helped me out. what a nice guy! then we went and got baugettes, these really good sandwiches. then we went to hyde park and met jana, melanie, bryan, mike, neako, christina, brooke, arwen and rick. we had a barbeque going, the boys made a grill out of a baking pan, coals, and oven rack. quite creative. when we were almost done these cops came buy to tell us that we werent allowed to do that in the royal park. they were really nice about it and just told us not to do it again. becca and i went to the store so i could get food. later on about 10 girls came over and we all talked and looked at pictures. it was so much fun. everyone on this trip is so much fun. i am so glad i came.

Wednesday i went to the art musuem for class. The whole group went and saw Shakespeare's "The Tempest" at the globe. We had to stand the whole time because it was supposed to be like it was back in the olden days. Later on a bunch of us went out to eat for Jana's birthday. We went to this Italian restaurant. That was really good, i got a pizza.

Thursday I didnt have an assignment for my art class. I packed for Scotland. Then Becca, Chris, Adam and i all went out to eat. We went to Wagamamma's because Adam had never been there before. The boys paid. What nice british boys! The whole night i kept telling Adam how it was bad to smoke. On the way home he told me to get people to tell him that it was bad. He didnt think i would do it but i did. The three people i asked agreed with me. It was funny. The last guy that i met was from the U.S. so we ended up talking. Turns out he was the manager of the band Queen! Can you believe that. I asked him if i could meet the band but they were all scattered around London for the night, so it wasnt possible.

Friday we had to wake up and get on the bus at 4. It was so early. We got to Scotland around 10. We checked into the hostel, which was kind of disgusting. Then we went to the Edinburgh Castle. That was so pretty. We also walked all around Edinburgh. That night we went to this restaurant called "Frankenstein" we thought it would be a good place to go to for Friday the 13th.

Saturday we all went to Stirling. We went to the Wallace Monument. That was pretty cool. The tour guy told us all about the war that was in Braveheart, he also said that movie is mostly false. Then we went to another castle. Then about 8 of us went out to eat at an Indian restaurant. I am in love with Indian food. Then we got on the train and went back home.

Sunday was a free day. So a bunch of us went to North Berwick. That was such a cute and small town on the coast. We played on the beach for awhile. Then we walked around the town for a bit. Got something to eat and took it back to the beach and ate it. Then we got back on the train.

Today we got back to London. I did laundry today, that cost 10 bucks to do one load! I could not believe that.

Thursday we went to the British Museum. That had some really cool things. Then I went and got fish and chips with becca, jess, and rose. That was all right. Not what I expected. That night the whole group went on a “Jack The Ripper” tour. That was interesting but pretty disgusting.

Friday we got on the bust at 9 and went to Bath. It sounds like Bahhth. That was a really cool town. Very pretty. We went to the Roman Baths. They were so cool. Then we went and toured a Abbey. For the rest of the day we walked around the town. Then we went to the Bed and Breakfast. After we unpacked we went and looked around Salisbury. Becca, Jess, Megan and I went to this Italian restaurant. It was so good.

Saturday we went to this old church and walked around Salisbury. Then we went to these ruins of a castle. Then it was off to Stonehenge. That was really neat. I cant believe those rocks are so old! After the group got home we all went out to a pub. That was tons of fun. We were celebrating Brian’s 19th birthday. We danced to some Irish music and other kinds of music. Americans know how to dance, all of the British people would come over and watch. Becca, Jess and I had some British boys meet us at the pub. So we talked with them for awhile.

Sunday a lot of people went to church at the singles ward. Then Rose, Brian and I went to the museum to do a art assignment. Then we went to the internet café. I tried to call my mom to tell her happy mother’s day but she wasn’t home.

Yesterday we all went to Dover. We took a train that was about 2 hours. We got to see the countryside, which was pretty nice. We went on a boat tour. Then we went up to the Dover castle. We went on a tour though the Dover cliffs. That was really interesting. There was a hospital and a lot of other military equipment from the 30’s and 40’s. Then we went and toured the Dover castle. I really liked doing that. Walking through the castle was so much fun.

Today I went to school. Then I went to the art museum. I had to look at some sculptures. Then about 15 of us went and bought tickets to Chicago. Then I went and picked up my laptop. I finally have internet in my flat! Then I went and watched the play. It was so good. I really liked it.

today i had school. then i had to go to the art musuem again for my art class. it seems like i have to go there everytime i have class. but its cool and different. after that musuem about 20 of us went to the british musuem which is like the oldest musuem i think. that was pretty intersting. i have about a 3 hour break right now. so im going to get something to eat. i havnt had lunch yet! then we are all going to a play. its called cosmonaut. its about these to astronauts in space who know that they are going to die. its supposed to be a dark comedy. that will be interesting.
