Okee then. As you can see my journal has a new look all thanks to the great and powerful JDawgII! I bow to you, oh sir person!
Well today mom woke us up to the lovely sound of the housecleaners yakking away in Spanish. We went down and ate breakfast and got into our swimsuits and headed off to the Morgan Hill swim center! Man do their male lifeguards have nice bodies! O_O
I swum a few laps, which felt good. The pool there is really clean and nice yush yush.
One of those water arobics classes started about an hour or so after we arrived. Those are fun to watch. We had lunch there. It was good, but it took forever for them to make.
At one point there was this really good-looking guy who walked over to the pool. He was tall and his hair was spikey in a strange but interesting way, and he was wearing sunglasses and a white tank top. His pants were really cool. I wanted them. They were navy blue but a light kind of board-short material and they were baggy and had some big pockets on them. He had really nice arms. Well all-around he was very well-built. I found myself wondering what he did to get himself like that. It didn't look like he was the kind of built you would see in a gym or anything.
I didn't have to wait long to find out, because soon off went his shirt and pants and he got in zee pool. He was wearing a Speedo, which was kind of a turn-off lol, but that was when I realized he was a swimmer. He started doing laps back and forth - slowly, but his movements were so smooth. Soon another guy who I guess was his friend went in the lane next to him and started doing the same. He wasn't wearing a speedo though. He was wearing those really tight short things. Yush they were very good and both very nicely built indeed.
A while afterward we went back home and Denise and Mom went to my grandma's house mostly because she had an orthodontist appointment down by there later on. I stayed and talked online, which was when Jimmy showed me how to put a background image and stuff because he's a genius (btw, don't let that comment go to your head =P ^__^).
Mom came back and we were off to voice lessons! It's only been my third lesson, so I'm still kinda jittery before I go every time. i'm afraid I'll do badly or something. i don't have a very high confidence level, as those of you who know me have probably figured out.
But Gary's really cool. He's my voice teacher for those a little slower ^^. When we were warming up by the piano he made me try for a high E note and I got it. He said he doesn't have anybody else who can do that XD I was so proud of myself.
Then I got up in front of the microphone with the headset on and worked on "My Last Breath" by Evanescence. After doing it a few times my voice felt shot. Ugh. But he said that I had improved a lot. The first few times he would play back different parts where he wanted me to do something, like push my voice so I can hit the note better or stronger, and I'd try it and I'd actually get it the first time, so that made me feel really good. He said he liked how the song was coming along and he was going to burn it onto a CD I could take home to see how I was doing.
When I went back into the office thing of his he said
"yeah so keep working on that song. you'll be singing it in about a month."
I looked at him, "you mean singing it singing it?"
"At the Taste of Morgan Hill" he said.
O_O oh God. I have to sing in public. To these people who live in my city which means I will be seeing them on the street, to people who I used to go to school with, performing this difficult pain-in-the-butt song. I am nervous just at the idea of it. I should be happy and stuff, and I am, because he doesn't make people perform unless he thinks they're doing well, but I am just so weirded-out at the idea. UG i say!
Oh well. Show some support fellas. No, that does not mean come. In fact, that means stay as far away as you can. Move temporarily to India or something, but make me feel better.
Anyway, I am back on my butt here at home debating with Camille and Chris over what movie we should see. Chris just left though. Hey... I FOUND NEMO!

.......ehhhhhhhh....
Alrighty, just got back from camping yesterday. Werent home an hour before i already left again. lol. Went and stayed at jessica's dad's last night, came home round 4 today. Camping was good. Got to see my cousin Keegan who i havent seen in a couple years i think. Hes goin to school down in north carolina for nascar pit crew. Thats good. He wasnt a very good kid not too long ago. Hes changing now tho, thats good. He quit smoking while we were camping. Now hes gotta quit drinking. heh. that'll prolly be harder for him. Anyway yeah, it was lots of fun. The lake was beutiful. Completely clean and clear, i dont think ive ever seen a lake quite that clean, it was almost like a big swimming pool.
On a different note, I dont think Justin and I are doin so good at the moment. Im hoping to fix that. I dont want this to end. Im happy. He says that for a while we just kept getting better and better, and now we've just kinda stopped. He also says that he's thought of breaking up with me a couple times....that made me sad. Im hoping we can get through this alright tho, like i said, i dont want to end it. I asked him about hanging out tommorrow before he goes to lisa's party, he said he didnt know but he would call tommorrow. .......On a similar note, i think im bi-polar and that i have mild ADHD. v_v im just screwed up arent i? heh, yeah, anyway cuz....i get really mad easily, and a lot of the time im not even sure why or what im mad at. anyway......i thiink thats all for today....see ya laters.

I suppose first I shall begin with the visit to Bryce's.
I've been friends with Bryce ever since I was a baby - my mom and his mom were roomates for a while and have been friends ever since Mom came to California from the east coast. A few years back, Kim (Bryce's mother) rented a room out to Steve, who, as it turns out, was gay. However over time I guess he became "bi" because he is kind of "together" with Kim at the moment, even though his old boyfriend for a while seemed very disappointed. I've meet that guy before. his name was Lenny and he was really funny, but that's beside the point. So yeah now Bryce, Kim, and Steve are all living together in their house. Bryce's real dad is from England, but he hardly ever gets to see him.
Anyway, they have a dog named Heidi who just had puppies. All but one died. Her name ish Daisy-Belle, but they just call her daisy for short. She ish a Scotty dog and she's so cute!
Thursday? Or was it Wednesday we went to see them. Bryce had died his hair darker for the summer. I wouldn't say it looked great on him, I think his eyebrows were too light. We ate lunch with them, and Denise, Bryce, and I started talking about stuff. He was the one who had got me started on System of a Down and all that metal stuff, so we talked about some of that - mostly System. Once we get over that awkward silence in the beginning of visits we can talk pretty freely about stuff. He's the kind of guy that's asked you if you have a boyfriend and gotten your cell phone number, but you can't really tell if he means anything by it.
The puppy kept bouncing around and a few times Bryce practically sat on her. In an attempt to get my soda away from her so she wouldn't knock it over I ended up knocking it over instead, because I'm so graceful.
Denise, Bryce, and I went for a walk around their block, which was nice. We started talking about times when we were little and would go on camping trips. I felt like I was such a horrible child. Oh dear I don't even want to remember some of those times. I spent the whole time hoping he wouldn't bring up something I would regret him ever bringing up. Luckily he didn't, though I bet he does remember some things.
Embarrassing...
Anyway, after the walk I asked if we could go see Heidi, their other dog, who was in a back room office thing. Bryce said sure so he started to go in the house and then Kim asked "are you going to his room?" God I hate it when people ask questions like that. Bryce said, "No!"
lol.
Kim just laughed and said "oh okay because you don't want to go in his room - it's a mess." At that point I remembered that Kim was the kind of laid back person that could care less if we went in his room "alone and unchaperoned" - I just automatically took it as if she was insinuating something. Actually I think I was worried more about what my mom thought when Kim asked the question. She's always worried about that kind of stuff. Last time we were over at his house Denise and I were both in Bryce's room, and he had these rubber gloves kind of hanging on this shelf-black-metal-cart-thing where he had his TV and video game stuff. When mom came in she asked "So... what are all these gloves for?" he didn't notice anything in her voice, but I did. It bothers me when you know your mom is assuming something dirty and then she asks about it. In the end he showed her how he cuts off the fingers of them and is able to make a shooting thingy using a soda bottle cap, a rubber band, and the finger of the glove. He could shoot beads and stuff pretty far with them. Twas cool.
So yush we played with Heidi and sat in the backyard for the rest of the time until it was time to leave.
Now for the camping trip.
Well, on Friday we went up to Lake Tahoe to go camping. Our campsite was by Emerald Bay, but it was actually a 4.6 miles hike if you wanted to get there, and it was a ten minute drive just to get to the actual lake. Saturday morning we wanted to go to the lake for a swim. However, the dog wasn't allowed to go on the beach, so we took him back to the campsite and put him in his bed in the tent, because if we left him outside he'd go crazy with all the chipmunks and squirrels. So in the tent he went, and we made him as comfortable as possible and opened the windows to let air in if it got hot and everything. It wasn't like we wanted to leave him there, but we kind of had to.
So we went out to the lake and went swimming and all that - it was really nice. That lake is so pretty - for a few hours. Then we went back. While walking up to the campsite the squirrels made that creepy laughing noise. They had made it when they chased eachother up a tree and left Scooter down below barking at them, and were doing it now, and I couldn't help but wonder why they were laughing at me. The first thing I went to check on was Scooter. But he wasn't in the tent. He was nowhere in the tent, his whole crate was gone. My first impression was that someone had stolen him, but we went down to a ranger thing and called the Visitor's Station. Someone seemed to know of a dog there, so we drove over. This lady came out and told us that Scooter was in the kennel across the street. He had been taken away because we had left him unattented. "Yes the tent was very hot and the dog was under stress and..." blah blah. When I put him in the tent, it wasn't hot at all, when we came back it wasn't hot at all, and he has terrier in him, he's been barking at the squirrels the whole time. So the barking she heard was most-likely him barking at the birds and squirrels in the tree because he could see them from the open window of the tent. What pissed me off more was that this guy went into our tent and took our dog without leaving a note or anything. Not to mention that comment about "the dog was under stress". That comment got my dad mad, but he didn't blow up at the lady or anything. he just brought it up afterwards and said it was like calling us bad parents, which is true. The thing that also bothers me is that you can't do anything as a family without leaving the dog unattended, and they don't have a place where we can drop him off at a kennel or anything (they said the one that they had taken him to was not for use). We're getting a citation for leaving the dog unattended now. It's dumb and it pisses me off.
They kidnapped my dawgey.

Finally Updated again
I hardly ever update. So, i thought i would. As of now im sitting here at Jessica's dads house. Its 4:08 .....now 4:09 in the morning. Jessica is playing sims on the PS2 and im thinking about drawing a picture on Oekakicentral.com.....that place is awesome. Anyway...yeah. Yesterday I was watching The Princess Bride at my moms house and ive come to a conclusion. Cary Elwes is a beutiful man. Laugh all you want...but he is. At least i think so. I especially liked him in Robin Hood:Men in tights. :) Alrighty....I guess thats all for now. I really dont know when i will update next >.>

I've figured it out. I am allergic to the sun. That's right. every once in a while, when I spend too much time out in the sun, I get the rash on my hands and arms and it's gross and itchy and I don't like it. I went to the beach this week (I am returning tomorrow) and the sand there is many a shade sarker than moi. This sand isn't exactly Hawaiian-white sand, but it isn't very dark either. It was weird... comparing myself to sand. Yush paleness I am, and I am NOT ASHAMED OF IT! Well.. except when Mom makes me wear shorts. I hate my legs, and if I can get out of it, I will not wear shorts anywhere in public. Just a great random fact for you.
My grandpa came out from Rhode Island this week. Yup. He's leaving tomorrow morning though. It was fun while it lasted. We went to the Boardwalk today and went on some rides and shtuff. Twas fun fun.
I need new eyeliner.
Lupin III is on and it's really annoying me. I don't like that anime. Part of it is because of the animation.
I hate this chair. I've had to use a different computer for a while, because mine is in the room my grandpa is using, and the chair I am sitting in is so uncomfortable - it makes my tushie hurt.
Haha... tushie... what a weird word lol. Fork is a weird word as well.
Camille seems to see things. She says that the huge grin smiley on AIM is missing teeth every time I send it to her. *nodnod*.

Weiner dogs are cute.
Oh yeah.. my grandma had a stroke a couple days back. It's her third, but this time she can't move her left leg at all. My dad woke me up one morning and said Mema was in the hospital and that he had to go. We didn't know it was a stroke at the time. Dad just said she was in the hospital and he didn't know why yet.
But truthfully, it made me realize how weak the last incident had left me. I mean the last time I had lost someone. I have been fearing lately that my grandma might pass away, but when dad told me she was in the hospital it was really scarier then I had thought. I didn't want to feel that kind of pain anymore. I had really been hurt and I hadn't even realized it.
It looks like she's going to be okay. She's going into rehab. I just hope she'll be able to walk again.

2004 5 July :: 2.50am
Hiya! Happy fourth to all I declare! Today was fun. We went to the parade in downtown Morgan Hill. Thing was, we weren't able to find a spot with shade in it, and I had only suncreened my face, so believe it or not, I got a sunburn/tan line! Amazing I say! I'm actually....tanner! What a concept.
In the parade they had about four different bagpiper bands. It was so awesome! I clapped my hands off for them, that I did.
After the parade we went over to my grandma's house in Santa Clara and went swimming in the pool for a while. My uncle Larry brought this rocket thingy that launches about one hundred feet into the air using water to propel it. My cousin Adam later battled with me on a video game of my sisters, and I was getting so mad because I knew I was better than him and he was beating me. Eventually I still beat him (yahaha! The power of my anger!) so I was happy. We set off some illegal fireworks in the backyard of my grandma's house. We would put them on a wooden plank that was floating in the pool. Unfortunately it got black soot ion the bottom of the pool and now we don't know how to get it off.
We went down to Central Park to watch the fireworks, and it turned out well, though for some of the lower fireworks there was a tree directly in the way. We were walking back and there were some drunk bastards being asses, so that pissed me off. When we got back to my grandma's, she was asleep, but we set off the rest of our illegal fireworks anyway. If she slept through the noise some of those made, I would be amazed. My aunt Ceal and I talked again. She has her flaws as does everyone, but we really do have a lot of things in common. It's nice talking to her.
When we were driving back home the waning moon was huge and the jack-o-lantern face with it's stiched smile was clearly visible. It was yellowish probably because of the smoke from fireworks around the area. I stared at it the whole way home, at least for when I could see it. It was pretty indeed, and as we got closer to home, the yellow tint seemed to fade away a bit because we had had less fireworks around here I guess. Yeah well my mom's getting me to bed, so I must do as she says lest I get in trouble. Fare thee well!
P.S. Turns out that the Renaissance Faire is still going to be in Casa de Fruta. I'm so happy! Yush. September 24 - October 18 10 AM to 6PM, for anyone who might have been curious.

Spent the weekend camping in Big Sir, which resulted in three mosquito bites on one arm but overall wasn't bad. During the first night there, we saw two gray foxes pass by on the hill that was, technically, part of our campsite, though it was really too steep to do anything on it except attempt to climb it and fail miserably. Turns out those foxes ate my dog's food in the middle of the night, or at least what was left out in the bowl.
The thing that sucked was, the second day we were there Mom decided to take us on a big fat hike uphill through poison oak grown-over paths. I hadn't had a very comfortable sleep the night before, so I had a huge headache, plus when we got to the top of the hill there was no shade whatsoever and we were in direct sunlight with flies buzzing around. I didn't think the view was worth it, either, but that's just my personal opinion. Oh well, I'm such a whiner ^^.
When we got back from the hike we went and ate lunch at the lodge, which was nice, and went back to our campsite to get dressed and go down to the river. We had found a nice spot and floated around on the inflatable raft a bit. I got out of the raft and decided to take a swim. Normally, I will go in water that is so cold most people won't go in it, but this water was cold . Even after the first few times I went under it still made me gasp for breath and rush to the surface as fast as I could. Needless to say I didn't stay in there all that long. Maybe ten minutes at the most. Denise stayed floating around in the raft with a net trying to catch crawdad's. She caught one at one point, but it was in bad shape; missing a whole arm, and it's big claw was broken at the tip. We put it back, of course.
Ummm... this morning, Father's Day, we packed up and left and ate brunch at a restaraunt called Rocky Point. It was okay, but I think they put us in a lousy room because we didn't have reservations. Needless to say, we got a nice ocean view all the same.
And those were basically the highlights of our trip thing. Of course, knowing Mom, she has a million other camping trips planned for us to .... enjoy.
Nah camping isn't bad. It's just bad when there are a lot of mosquitos and Mom makes us hike during the hottest part of the day... and the uncomfortable sleep, and my sister yelling at me to "kill the spider! Kill the spider!"... but other than that, it's fine - oh, and packing everything up, and if there's a yellow jacket problem, that sucks... *ahem*
