Tonight was opening night for the play.
We had a few bumps here and there (anything that could have gone wrong did, I'm glad Nick is going tomorrow) but overall it was awesome.
Katie made me the cutest thing ever.
I made the crowd laugh.
I'm so excited for the next two performances.
Thanks to everyone who came!

Just got home from play practice.
It feels like Tuesday.
My costume is different from all the other faeries so I'll stick out a lot.
Bought tickets for Ben, Jackie and Nick. Fourth row back, stage right.

Prom was awesome.

Dear friends,
So.. this summer I'm going to Romania. Romania's an overpopulated country in Europe. I heard it's really beautiful there. I'm excited and will be staying for two weeks, July 1 - July 15.
Why and how am I going to Romania? It's a mission trip. I'm going to help out the orphanages there, (like I said, it's overpopulated so many children are abandoned,) and I'll also do street evangelism and dramas. That's the why. Now how? Well.. for $2,786.. everything is provided for. Airfare, accommodations, food, and training. But I'm not rich.. I'm trying really hard to raise the funds because I feel like I should go on this trip and I want to more than anything else I could be doing this summer. I've mailed out letters, asked a church to support me.. I haven't had much luck though.
I know you all have fast food or no jobs, so you're about as wealthy as I am, but if you're willing, a donation would be greatly greatly appreciated. A donation of anything. $10, $5, $1. I don't care, it'll help. So if you can, please, and thank you very much.

Prom is tomorrow. I'm excited.
I'm upset that I still have a week more of the play. I miss being home right after school. I don't have any time to be with my family or talk to anyone at all.
I miss that.
On Monday, we get to run through the play in costume. I can't wait.

You know what I hate?
Those pants with words written on the seat.
Because I know those pants weren't made so some chick two years older than you is forced reflexively to stare at the same thing you poop out of. They're made so that guys will be staring at your rear involuntarily.
And I can't not look. It's a reflex. I have to read everything.
They forgot that girls can read too.
That's a fatal flaw in the design!

Today it feels like we are all grown up. Last night we went to the viewing for Jess, not for her mom but for jess. She needed us and instead of people being self-ish or self centered last night for the first time in a long time, I saw all of us there together dressed up, and focused on the things that do matter. I don't know if maybe it was the circumstances or if we have actually grown up. Things that didn't matter, all the little stuff, seemed to have no place last night. It was just nice to see that for once all the stupid High school crap had been left behind, and that we might actually be growing up. I care about you all and I do hope that you feel the same way. We will all be going down different roads soon and I wish you all the best of luck, and if nothing else I will see you all again when we meet the end of our roads. It's been a great life and it will be great to grow old together or apart.
