Yesterday was fun. Mat took me to Fredrick Meijer Gardens and we walking around there for a while. I have some really nice pictures from there. He also gave me my birthday presents which I love, and then my family and I did the whole birthday thing. Though, if I had been fed any more, I think I would have thrown up. Too much food! But all in all it was a good day, despite it being kinda cold and cloudy.

I forgot to inform the masses (aka all you guys) of another important tidbit of exciting news/information last night.

My family and I will be having a visitor hang out with us for the month of July.

Tina's little brother, Michael (also known as Mike, Mikey, and Michi), will be coming over from the lovely city of Munich!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ich bin sooooooo excited!

It's early, I'm up early, Chad is amazingly later than usual today, I'm playing with my phone already.

The couch and everything on and around it are gone from the corner, I congratulate all that took part in the mission. Chad's here!

I'll be spending eight weeks this summer at an NSF-funded archaeological field school. They only chose 14 people, and they picked me.
Also nice is the $300/week stipend. 300x8=2400. That's a lot of money to take off of next year's college costs. That may just save my ass. It might get me ahead enough that if I keep my wits about me, I can stay ahead of my bills.

Fantastic. Also, Strawtown, IN is a hell of a lot closer to Dayton than MI is. Closer to Brian=good.

It still amazes me totally that Dragostea din tei is so popular in the U.S. now.

A couple of people asked me if I'd ever heard of it, and I gave them the "you've got to be kidding me" look. Hell, that song was played all the time in Germany last year. How could I not hear it?

But, thanks to the growing popularity, I've been craving to hear it and dance along to it and mock it. Too bad it's lost *sigh* perhaps that's a good thing, though.

It looks like I'll be kinda busy this weekend. Babysitting on Friday and Saturday. Yay, I can earn some money for my college books!
