I finsihed "Taming of the Shrew" today. It's a good comedy. Slapstick. Just what I've been craving for. I'll be doing a project to it similar to the "Much ado about nothing" project that I did. I hope that Watson won't force me to write another paper. But knowing him, he will.
It's so smurfing awesome out. I think I'll actually get off the computer and go outside. Too bad Rachel doesn't live as close to me as Ben does.
I got a scholarship for $12,000 for WMU because of my GPA. And I'll be recieving another one because my grandpa went to WMU way back when 50 years ago. Or some random huge number.
I've got the "Four seasons" song stuck in my head. Durn Wessley-sensei (even though she's beyond awesome) for having us sing songs with addicting tunes!
We're reading Beowulf in World Lit now. I'm really enjoying it. Ja.
One more day.

I live in New York, and I was thinking about the lagoon in Central Park, down near Central Park South. I was wondering if it would be frozen over when I got home, and if it was, where did the ducks go? I was wondering where the ducks went when the lagoon got all icy and frozen over. I wondered if some guy came in a truck and took them away to a zoo or something. Or if they just flew away.
"You know those ducks in that lagoon right near Central Park South? That little lake? By any chance, do you happen to know where they go, the ducks, when it gets all frozen over? Do you happen to know, by any chance?"

I suck.
Really.
I drove my family home from eating brunch this morning.
And almost killed them all.
My mom was trying to be all light about it ("You kept control of the car, that's a good thing") but she was scared to death. I was scared to death. Everyone in the car was.
The sad thing is, I was doing fantastic up until that point. My parents even said so.
I just want my license.
I'm not feeling that great.

Recent news.... sorry I haven't updated.
First of all... remember how my roomate moved out at the beginning of the year because she 'wanted a room to herself'? Turns out she thought I was a lesbian.
Awesome. Fucking brilliant and awesome. But at the same time.... why am I always the last to know? First, no one told me I was pregnant (my mother thought I was because strep throat was not the obvious answer... pregnancy was), and now this??
Also, the girls in the room directly below mine were singing all fancy-like. They were being jokingly operatic and it was cool. I replied and we had a sort of bizarre duel. This escalated beyond their Disney medlies and ended in me singing Der Holle Rache (the aria of The Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflote).
If any of you have heard that song... you know what happened.
Yeah. It was a lot like that.

I finished The Catcher in the Rye. It took me less than a day.

It's grand that after a book like A Farewell to Arms, we're reading The Catcher in the Rye. It makes me like AP Lit a little bit. Except I know we're not going to talk about this book half as much as we talked about Hemingway's.
You'd like it. It's not phony at all.
It's hilarious.
The book is so awesome. It's not anything you have to struggle with either.
You should see how Holden talks about people! It's awesome.
I love Holden Caulfield. Boy! He's grand.

The main Oomph! site has 2 minutes of their "Augen auf" video. It's pretty smurfing awesome...at least what I was able to see of it. Dero is dressed up as an evil clown.
I also watched the "making of Augen auf" which was pretty cool.

I've started reading "Taming of the Shrew" which is much lighter than King Lear was. I'm so glad to be reading a comedy again.

My goal for the rest of the year (all 1 and a half months of it) is to get kicked out of Mr. Watson's AP Lit class.
I'm really beginning to despise both the man and the class.
Plus, I've never been in trouble for anything at school.
I might as well aim high.

P.S. I'm in one of those moods where I'm really tempted to delete everything in this journal and rip up every word I've written.
