Last night was fun. I feel like a rebel. Long story. Went bowling with Courtany and Jennie. Zak showed up later with mine and Jennie's chinese food. That was cool.

I had a really crazy dream last night. I can't really explain it. Bill was in it. Nothing bad. Then I got to talking to someone and Led Zeppelin's song Misty Mountain Hop came on and then I was telling them how much Jim Morrison was hot. It was weird.

While everyone else is in school until the 6th, I'm there until May 18th. I'm excited!

I got myself a hamster today. He's greyish brown, furry, and fat. I named him General Grant. After Ulysses S. Grant, the greatest military strategist(sp) of all times. I'll take a picture of him later.

my decision
After talking to people, I've decided that not going would be a bad thing. I'd regret not doing it just because it's something I've wanted to do for over 2 years now and now that it's happened I'm having second thoughts. I just have a lot of thinking to do right now. I've already decided, my open house/going away party will be in June of 2007 or sometime after school lets out. I know I've got about 10 months and I'm thinking way ahead but hey, I ship June 21 2007. I can think that far ahead.

If you all remember Jake Mol, I'm sure you do, I seen him Wednesday at the hotel in lansing when I was there. He was shipping off for the Marines. He's a cool kid. I was happy to see him there. It was a surprise for me seeing him there.

Rereading old posts. Most have been about the army and whatnot. I don't really care. This is something I really want to do with my life. 6 years away from home will be a long time and I'm going to miss so many people, but it's something I want to do. It's something I've wanted to do for almost 2 years now. In less than 10 months I too will embark on an adventure just like 2 other really cool kids. I'm going to make the best out of this year. And you should too.

Got back from lansing like an hour ago. I passed my ARMS test that I had to take. I had my initial swear in today. I also had my physical which pretty much sucked. I'm so excited.
