Prom night
Okay. So I've had an interesting and really kinda depressing day and I think my darling is really furious with me but you know what, I have a story to finish.

When Tuck and I arrived it was still a little wet and he was bitching about having to wear the ruffle shirt and we got into a little spat but he ended up wearing it anyway. So we went in and whatnot and this is how it was set up:
As you walked through the doors of the field house they had a "cobblestone" path thingy under an ivy covered archway and there were people with the guest list on each side. In the center of the lobby was a little flowerbed thingy with benches around lots of pretty flowers and stuff and chocolates sitting on little pedastools. To the left was a table with three punch fountains on it and to the right some benches and pedastools with food. There was a "balcony" above the window into the gym that was all decorated with flowers and stuff and under it was an arrangement of pedastools with strawberrys and fruits and cheeses and stuff on pretty silver platters.
Mind you there were rose bushes and flowers EVERYWHERE. In the girls bathroom there was pretty antiquy mirrors and flower petals and smell good lotions and things too. It was really cool.
As you walked into the gym on either side you walked in through an archway of flowers and ivys.
There were 20 tables on each side of the gym each draped with a white tablecloth and a big colored strip of ribbon and in teh center a big arrangement of flowers(all donated by the florists around town). The ceiling was draped completely in dark colored crape that sprialed from the center and there was litttle lanterns hanging all throughout the things. There were blacklights on the floor around the edge of the room too. To one end of the dancefloor the DJ was under a canopy tent thing that was wrapped in flowers and a few lights and to the other end there was a circle of columns and archways wrapped in lights and ivy that looked really pretty. All of it was absolutely gorgeous. There were white lattices all around the gym doors and things that looked really nice and there was a lack of a ton of light so it looked really enchanting. Oh. and Lining the edges of the dancefloor in a few areas were archways wrapped in roses and vines that lookes really pretty. Each had a little round light at teh bottom that was partially hidden so it wasnt real bright.
I really REALLY wish I had taken more pictures of the decor, but I do have plenty of myself and Tucker which I will post as soon as I get my laptop or get access to a scanner. ^^

anyways. We got to prom and found some of our friends including one of Tuckers best friends, Catherine, who had come as a date(she moved a while back). We all danced and eventually Catherine and her date Lydia convinced tucker to wear all three ruffles outside of his vest and he looked absolutely stunning. We took pictures for his mom and danced a bunch of times to music that was really cool. Luckily this year they got an actual DJ who played a little of EVERYTHING. It was really really nice and actually turned out to be a very charming evening!

Yeah...I know I just strung all that together and its not complete sentences or anything but I'm tired so meh.

In otehr news...I LOVE YOU TUCKER!

Graduation...
IS SO COOL. I just got notice of one of my graduation gifts!!! This may be one of the last few entries I post using this old lappy. ^^ She's about 10 years old and has a lot of problems but I love her. However, I am soon to be the owner of a brand new Dell laptop compliments of my grandma Sue and Grandaddy Bill as a graduation gift!!! I'm sooooo happy! It should be here sometime next week!!!! YAYYYYY!!!! Its got all kinds of neato stuff too. I think I left the paper in Mum's car though that says all it has. But yeah. I'm very very excited!!!

In other news. Prom was last night! Lets recap how everything went.
11:30am I woke up and called my grandma sue to see if she could help me with my dress(I got a different one than initially, but thats a whole nother story...) cause it was a little big and hung kinda funny. So I went over there to show them and get it fixed and as I was putting it on to show her how it hung I came out of the bathroom and she was holding a paper thingy and handed it to me and said "This is our graduation gift to you" and it was all about my new lappy and if you could have seen my face you would have laughed...I was in shock. I was all giddy and stuff and they said it would be here sometime within the next week and so yeah...that was that. Grandma sue fixed my dress and then I headed to town to pick up my cape from Tucky's and stop by Mama's to sign the credit card thing for my mom since she didnt get to the otehr night cause they ran out of paper for the machines. did that then went to 7-11 and got a Slurpee(much yummyness) and then headded home to see about getting ready. As I was driving I got all mopey cause I knew I couldnt do the whole dinner and corsage thing cause Tucky and I are both broke and whatnot but I was really okay with it so I just kinda shrugged it off. I got home and proceeded to scub and vacuum mom's car inside and out and got all mopey again cause my mom wasnt home and no one was around to talk to or anything. After I cleaned the car I went inside and got in the shower. I started crying in the shower for some reason and just couldnt stop so I finished cleaning up and went upstairs for a while and laid down. Called tuck and was a complete bitch to him...which I feel horrid about now. Called Jess and whined to him. Which I also feel horrid about. Then since mom wasnt home I thought I'd go down to the carnival thingy she was helping out at at the elementary school but she had already left so I went back home and waited and decided I wasnt going to prom and then thought I was and called mom and whined and she got mad and rushed home. When she got there she yelled at me cause I didnt have a corsage and cause I wasnt doing dinner and everyone started fighting and making me upset again so I told them all to fuck off and took my dress and things upstairs and got ready on my own! sorta...
I got my dress on and my makeup done and my hair done by myself at first and it looked okay but when I came downstairs my mom suggested I pull the braid into a bun so I did and then I wanted to put rhinestones in it and messed it all up so we had to redo it. By the time Tucker got there I was just finishing up my hair. I looked pretty though. I had a tiara and everything. so Tuck got there in his Ruffly shirt and looked all handsome and we took pictures and oh! i forgot. While I was getting ready tucker called and said that we had dinner reservations at Cape Porpoise!!!! I was soooo suprised! And! He showed up with flowers! 5 really pretty Peonies(Which are one of my favorite flowers next to Roses and Carnations) and I was all happy and mom shut up.
After we took pics at home we were late for dinner so we went and ate and it was really good and then went to see my Grandma Sarah and Aunt Winoka and stuff, then went back to see my grandma sue and grandaddy bill cause we were late and didnt get to go by there before. After that the sky started getting really dark so we headed to town cause we had to stop at Mama's to show Dani and the gang our outfits. As we hit Mountain Track it started to lightning and thunder really really bad and then it started pouring rain to the point where you couldnt see two feet in front of you. But it was a short storm and really pretty actually and we got to Mama's safely. Dani and the guys were very impressed and said we looked like a king and queen. Sammi asked us if we were getting Married..>>;;; luckily though we avoided pictures. After that we went back to Tucker's so we could see his mom and he could burn a cd. Then went to prom. And it was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! ^_^ But I'll write about it later tonight. I have to go straighten up mom's house cause we have company coming.
