The Weekend
What a weekend this has been. Friday afternoon Nicole and I went to correct for Mr. Schneider. We talked to Mr. Hayman (and watched that freaky girl offer him a massage!!!! ewwwww) and Miss Beman :) We corrected lab reports including my sister’s who’s was REALLY nice! Mr. Schneider is so great :)
Then we went back to my house when we were done. We were couch potatoes until our yummy dinner of quesadillas and Louise came. We then walked to “The Visit.” Melissa, Marcella, Rachel, and Sara were there too. The show was really good!!! Very creepy! Julie was awesome! Oh, by the way, hugs Mel; remember you are a super-mega star.
Saturday, I went to Mel’s church at 11:00 AM to rehearse before the memorial service for Mrs. Hebel. Rehearsal went well, as did the service. It was really sad though, but of course that is to be expected. I enjoyed all the stories and how the whole family participated in the service. The grand kids were so adorable, they made me really sad though. But I think Mr. Shaull takes the cake for making me cry. Wow, his words of remembrance were so amazing. The service was extraoridnary and I was really glad I could be a part of it, honoring someone so, as Mr. Shaull put it, “remarkable.”
And finally HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all the February birthdays especially Emily, Rachel and Melissa! You guys rock :)

Tonight
In efforts of even further putting off my English homework, I am going to update about our spiffy rehearsal. We sounded beautiful if I do say so myself. For the most part tonight was really fun. The two lunch-bag quotes of the evening: Michelle~ I fell dirty... Where's the Holy Water? Rachel and me~ Oh my gosh! My dad~ Oh your gosh? Me~ Oh my gosh! Rachel~ Hey, don't be selfish, it's my gosh too. Me~ Oh our gosh! Oh and by the way I added the word smallen to the dictionary :) (The gap smallened!) But, although a good part of tonight was enjoyable, I was really sad a lot throughout our singing. Mr. Shaull teared up at the beginning... And there is this süber mega pretty movement that G21 sings and is seriously sad. Sigh, oh well. I just need to keep in mind that it is a celebration of life more than death. I am really glad I can be a part of honoring her life, because even though I didn't know her, she was obviously an incredible woman and meant a lot to those she left behind. And with that I must depart, because I REALLY need to finish my ENglish HW and get to bed. *Yawn* Goodnight everyone!
