Did I ever tell you about that time we were in Prague?

We were in Staromestske Square during the week of Easter and there was a festival. Along with various food stands, there was a stage where multiple groups of schoolchildren performed acts ranging from line-dancing to recorder-playing.

This group was my favorite. They wore yellow t-shirts and sunglasses while they sang a song in English.

The lyrics:
"...here to stay
Your body is a wonderwall to touch
I want you so bad,
Want you so much
Your body is a wonderwall to touch
I want you so bad,
Want you so much..."

Who is interested in visiting Kyle this month? I am for sure going to visit but my plans may be revised if others are interested in joining this journey. If a lot of ppls want to go we could probably take my fucked up but still functional minivan. If no one else is I might just drive anyway or hitch. Haven't decided yet. Anyway let me know if this is of interest to you.

I realize now that we need measuring cups.

I can't convert cups to tablespoons forever.

I can't wait until school starts and I actually have order in my life. Work is so crazy. My hours aren't set in stone and I hate that. I like something to work toward and I can't when working toward noon turns into five.

And I can't wait to take normal English-speaking classes again. I have two night classes for the first time so I hope that turns out okay. I never wanted to take a night class but both these classes are ones that I really want.

In other news, I love Canada. "Look, this isn't the 15th century. You can't go around the world and just plant flags and say 'We're claiming this territory.'" - Canadian Foreign Minister PETER MacKAY dismissing any threat to Canadian sovereignty in the Arctic after Russia planted a flag on the seabed beneath the North Pole.

"By comparison, Canada is a tension-free place." - JACK JEDWAB, director of the Association for Canadian Studies, explaining the increased number of Americans moving to Canada, which hit a 30-year high last year with discontent over the Iraq war and American politics.

I am riding the bus home from work because we only have one car.

Let me tell you, the GR buses are awesome. The bus drivers are nice and it's clean and easy to use. The bus talks and says what stop is coming up next.

Plus , today was an Ozone Action Day so the buses were free. Tomorrow is one too. Apparently, they are running free on the first 10 Ozone Action Days this year. I think that's awesome and they should advertise it more.

Anyway, I don't know if you ever have had or will ever have the opportunity to ride the buses in GR but I highly recommend it.

I love you all.

I called work to see if they need help before school starts and they do! It's only 3 hours a day worth of help but it's still awesome.

Nick and I will just have to figure out transportation as we only have one car now and he works Tuesday - Saturday.

But yay! End to boredom.

Don't sneeze or cough into your hands. The germs will be spread onto the next thing, or person, you touch. Coughing or sneezing into the crook of your elbow is always a safe bet. Unless you touch a lot of people and things with the inside of your elbow.

Flush the toilet with your feet, use your elbows for everything. When exiting the restroom, use a paper towel or your sleeve to open the door.

Yes, I am bored. kthx

I am now in the new apartment with Nick where I will be living for at least a year or until something horrible happens.

It is, quite frankly, pretty bitchin'.

Soooo I am home from camp for awhile. There are only 2 weeks left and they need staff so I'm going to stay and help out for the rest of the year. Other than that not much is new. Ummmm my dear friend Duke Greene is playing in Rockford in a few weeks I believe, you should all go see him. I will tell you when when I find out. Yeah.

McHenry went to the vet. Blood tests came back fine. Apparently he's just old. Mom says we just have to make sure we see him everyday.

He's still falling over. It's not sad so much anymore as it is hilarious.

Retro-post
"Did I wake you up?"

"Sorta."

"Sorta?"

"No, someone hit me. I'm flagged for PvP."

"Oh. So are you playing WoW?"

"No. I haven't gotten up yet."

"So did I wake you up?"

"Sorta."

Hi folks. Hope everyone is doing well. I am back to looking for a job that I will work for less than a week, because next week I get to work at camp. Yay. But only for a week, and then I will be back to the lame temp jobs. There needs to be a synonym for week, because I said it way too much in those last few sentences. I guess "half a fortnight" would work but probably no one would know what the fuck I was talking about. So I guess it really wouldn't work. As you can probly tell I've got some time on my hands this half a fortnight so if anyone is bored give me a call. Or don't. See if I care.

I am spamming about music but it is important and may improve your life.
So yesterday I came home and listened to this little thing called "The Diane Perry Tape" by a band called the Brian Jonestown Massacre. And it knocked my socks off like nothing has in a long time. Probably not since I heard Dead Meadow for the first time. And I love me some Dead Meadow. But anyway, I was thinking, "Hmmm I need to find more out about this band because I would like some more of their music." SO I went to their site, and lo and behold, they have entire albums that you can download for free. That's probably where I got the Diane Perry Tape from in the first place. So, in conclusion, go to the Brian Jonestown Massacre's site and download some music. It may suprise you.

I feel kind of bad because everyone else is reverse culture shocking it up and wants to go back to France.

But then I think about it and it is okay that everyone else loved France and wants to go back.

I am more happy here than I have been since maybe November or before whenever leaving for France became real.

They can have all the France they want.

Because it sucked and I hated it.

I seriously am surprised when men don't yell at me, check me out or honk at me when they drive by. And that is not a good thing to be surprised about.

For clarification, when I was in the airport in France waiting for my plane wearing khakis that I'd slept in and an old comfy shirt, airport security guards clicked at me. It's this thing that French guys did. They clicked at girls like you would click at a cat or dog to make it come to you. When I was in Texas and wearing a shirt white dress with a tennis skirt that snapped in the front, a guy looked at me and moved on. Like a normal person.

I am so glad to be home.

Plus there are stores open later than 7 at night. And I understand everything people say.

Seriously, this is the best country in the world. And you know how I hate this country.

I just wish I had my car and my job.

I love you all and I am so happy to be home. Beyond happy.
