Today was Greater Galesburg Day

Good fun for trailer trash, but I had to leave early. Today was also the Kup Family Reunion.

It was a weird thing so soon after the party.

I kept getting Deja Vu with the entire binge drinking and euchre-playing going on. My family is weird like that, I find out. We really are partiers. I chose not to join in the discussion of how Black Velvet tastes. The people’s whose house we were at said I could drink because the age for that in Indiana is 18 years old. I knew they were shit, but whose gonna argue. (Actually, I didn’t drink, because I wont drink in front of my parents until I’m 20, and only then when offered.) So anyway, it’s in my blood.

So anyway I’m happy again, and this time it seems like it’s gonna last. I don’t know what the future holds for Me. I shouldn’t think about it too much…

Well I was depressed and lonely a long time.

That ended last night.

I don't know if it was the alcohol or the numorous pretty ladies that I had the pleasure of spending time with. (But I'll bet on the second)

Anyway. I'm content and when I'm content I don't write much.

I was soooooo royally pissed when woohu was down last night. I ended up voicing my prooblems to Joe's away message. I don't feel like going through it all again, so I'l just paste the most important point...

polishpimping (1:01:47 AM): to further complicate my life, a girl I had a crush on in High School (Colleen Callen, white VW Rabbit...) hung out with me and Aaron last night. She was all complementing me and shit. I don't know but she was kinda happy to find out that I was single again. Well surprised anyway, I don't read girls well.

I am amazed.
I am amazed by how much things make sense when everything I thought was important is gone.

I know what’s important now.

For those of you who are not feeling so great I wish I could help you other than give my own sort of advise.

The hardest thing in life is determining what exactly is “the small stuff”. For a long time I thought that everything but finding a wife (with a job to support her) and starting a family is “small stuff”. I was half right.

The things I once thought of as important aren’t. It doesn’t really matter if I have a girl friend. It does matter if I have a friend though.

Friends are what is important in this world, and not much else.

It’s your friends who will help you when you are down; so don’t forget to help them when they are. Your friends are the ones who watch out for your best interest. Friends are what make this life worth living. All the money, alcohol or sex in the world cannot match the worth of one good friend.

So just remember, when things are low. Take a deep breath, and get some fresh air. Take a jog to get rid of some of your unnecessary aggression. Or if nothing else, talk to a true friend.

I don’t know what’s happening to me. I’m becoming… different. I’m losing some of my excess weight. My hair is becoming red (and no, I haven’t dyed it that way. Completely natural other than some “sun in” I used like a month ago.) and coolest of all, my eyes are turning green. I don’t know what’s happening to me, but I like it.

In addition to my physical changes, I am different on the inside too. I mean my life is still shit, but I don’t really care anymore. One day at a time. I wont be alone forever. Next year at college is a whole new ballgame baby!
