My calves are soar as hell, but I actually enjoy running on our new treadmill. I'm trying to make a commitment to run on it almost everyday for at least 20-30 mins. Hopefully, I can get in shape for college. Speaking of which, I may have already mentioned that I was accepted into Loyola's honors program. Yesterday they picked finalists for the Ignatius scholarship...that's a full-ride. I wonder if I even have a chance at being considered for it? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm tired, but I still have a bunch of calc problems to finish. Grrr. I got some online help with two problems, and that helped me remember how to find the deravative. It's been a while. Tonight I ran on the new treadmill my mom bought. It's not too bad. It has a CD player and fan, and it can check your heart beat. The funniest part of school today: during 5th hour, the office made an unexpected announcement for all sophomores and juniors to go to the aud. They go running out of their classrooms, leaving the teachers stunned. 5th hour I'm in french II, so there were 3 seniors left after the annoucement. It was great. Worst part of play: I think I'm getting another sty. Play make-up sucks!

Was it me or did the weekend go by fast? I guess when you have performances friday, saturday, and sunday it can seem that way. Today's performance! Wow...sara sums it up best when she says it was better than saturday but not as good as friday. First of all, there was hardly an audience. Without a responsive audience (someone ought to have checked if they were breathing) it was hard to get energized. Secondly, the prop girls put away my gun so when I went to get it...it was gone! Improvising, I took a cane, which was very awkward to carry on stage disquising. It sufficed I guess. It was either that or a tamborine or bouquet of flowers! After the show I came home and crashed. I felt crappy tonight, and now I gotta write a stupid essay for AP Lit.

2004 13 March :: 1.55am
Tonight was simply awesome. From my perspective, the play was flawless. I don't feel like I have much talent, but I got a ton of compliments. All these strangers told me what I good job I did and how I "stole the show." Dr. Reilly told me I had the audience eating out of my hand, or something like that. I also got to meet Joe Fritz, who played Moonface 8 years ago. We both agreed that it is a great part. There was one point in the show were I stumbled over my lines: "That's more like it! Can we hear from anananother layman?" Lol...I swear, sometimes can't talk. The weirdest part? Besides from a dry mouth, I wasn't really nervous. Unfortuneatly, it wasn't a sold out show, but the audience was great. They laughed at so many unexpected parts. I'm glad that they enjoyed the show. Well, I gotta get some sleep for tomorrow's performance. Now I'm pumped.

Opening night tonight...I'm excited. All I hope for is that I won't screw up and that the show will go smoothly.
Yesterday after school I talked to Katie about prom. Ours is the same night as RP, and I told her that I wanted to go to ours. I remember I asked her to christmas dance sophomore year, but a senior had alread asked her. We've got attentitive plans to go, and I think it'll be fun.
Last night I went to Lacie's surpise party at Topos. There were a ton of people there.

Despite an overall lack of energy and not feeling well, tonight's practice went alright. It was off to a rough start on my part, but turned around after the first scene. Alexa and I had to do some improving Monday night and it went something like this:
Reno: a monocle?
Moon: Yeah, it must've been THIS big!
Reno: really?
Moon: You know, all these englishmen sound the same. In fact, they sound like they're from another country!
*directors crack up*
It was great. Anyways, that calc test today..I have no idea how I did. Like, I think I knew how to do everything, but I wasn't 100% sure. I probably failed all the volumization questions. See, to me, anything less than an A is "failing." I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow, which is going to be a wonderful half day.

The Student Dress Rehersal was today. Uhm...it was okaaay, I guess. I botched a line or two, and people's ques before "Bon voyage" got totally lost (not my fault). A classic moment from the show...
Purser: Thannk yoo...
Moon: There's something wrong here!?
Purser: Thank yoo...
Moon: May the Lord watch over you and make you better men, although you're pretty damn good already.
Purser: Thank you, doctor, for your help.
You'd probably have to be there to understand. After the performance Mrs. Fritz came up to me and said it was like watching "Joe" (her son) up on stage (he had my part when they last did the show).
Just to prove how stressed I am, I had a dream the other night where I lost it. I was in calculus class. We had a sub. I clearly had my hand raised first, but the sub, who looked directly at me, looked around the room and called on someone else. I was pissed. After class, when I'm getting my stuff together, I said something really sarcastic, in a pissy tone to these two other guys there. It was something stupid, too, like "good LUCK with your HOMEWORK." They just looked at me and one of them made a comment, which I was too angry to even respond to. Then, later in the dream, I was in the gym lobby. There were a lot of people, but this one girl wearing shades started talking to me/hitting on me. She was pretty, but when she took off her shades she was like 12 years old! I'm not a pedofile, I swear!
Before I go...AOL isn't the friendly ISP it claims to be. In the homework help chat room for math, the "teacher" in there said "no more calc tonight." Sweet, so I can get help with my math problems when I need it. Sorry I'm not in algebra. These "teachers" on AOL don't know what they're talking about anyways. I better go study.

Just some updates...
I'm feeling a little bit run down, but I hope I stay healthy for the show.
I dropped a lot of lines tonight, but hopefully it was just for tonight.
I got accepted into Loyola's Honors Program. Scholarship notification isn't sent out until the 15th...full-tuition. Pray for me.
I need to find a job.

Why did we have to run the show in costume? Why am I a bad actor? Why did tonight suck? I forgot nearly all of my props, nearly missed an entrance, broke a button off my costume...learned that I've been singing the wrong harmony in "Friendship." Man. Monday night was much better, and now it's just getting old. Not to mention other people who treat my like I'm retarded. Maybe, they don't, and maybe that's just how I perceive it. Maybe they're just trying to make the show better, but you don't have to explain something to me fifty times. Now that I think of it, I think I am partially retarded. My motor skills are ill. Tonight, dinner consisted of orange juice, cheese crackers, and a rice krispie treat. My mom's been getting on my nerves all day. How many days until I graduate?

I went to the doctors today, and now I'm a guinea pig. It was kind of funny because walking out the Hackely Professional Buildng who do I see? Mrs. Macvoy, the play's coreorapher. She asked if I was getting sick and said that I was just getting a check up. I had to miss calculus to keep my appointment...speaking of which, I have two nights of hw to do.
