I haven't updated in a while, so anyone who cares can read something new. Not saying that I have anything to say, really, but just that I really do update this journal, not just "WOOHOO" and "Aloha" posts. I guess life is going pretty good right now, or, you know, maybe not. I'm broke, have no job, have no real life, per say, so, you know, I guess things are going relativly the same. Except that I am uber-bored all the time. It's like Mono, except that I'm not tired, just really, really, deathly bored. Brokeness is a little easier to deal with, 'cause I can just walk places instead of driving my gas-whore car. I might be able to get a job someday, but apparantly, today is not that day, as far as that goes. Actually, I'm kinda glad I don't have a girlfriend right now, 'cause I couldn't afford to do anything, cause I'm broke, 'cause I have no job. It's kinda like a vicious circle, but more like a slightly-rabid circle than a truely vicious circle. I was in a relationship recently. It lasted three days, 'cause I was the "rebound guy". That was fun, from a certian point of view, and really it was better than nothing, I think. I'm not sure though. It really didn't hurt when I found out that she was just lonely, so I could leave. I guess I'm getting used to rejection, well, not really rejection, but more like dissappointment. I'm so used to being alone it feels normal. Not to say I don't want a girlfriend, 'cause I do, it's just that No one I can think of that I hang out with regularly is alone, and that kinda blows. It always feels like I'm that weird third guy that tags along because he has nothing else to do. You know, three's a crowd. Oh well, at least I've got a lot of good books at home.

Just a little update of what I'm doing with myself this summer.
For starters, I'm working at Bed Bath & Beyond. It's not the kind of job I pictured myself working, but it's a job and it pays. And it's not tough work either. Next week my summer class at MCC starts. HIST 201 for 8 hours a week for a 7.5 weeks. I hope it's not as bad as ratemyprofessor says it is. I wanted this summer to be all about learning, so in my spare time I'm reading books (so far I've read 5 and I'm working on Catcher in the Rye right now), practicing piano, learning card games/tricks, and attempting to pick up guitar, although I'm lazy and it takes a lot of paitience, which I've seemed to've lost. So far I've been to chicago once, to visit Keith, Sara, and Theresa, college pals. I want to go back once more, but Keith's gonna be gone by then. Future roommate right there. Right now my parents and sister are gone on vacation. I decided to stay here and work instead, so I have the house to myself. It's actually kinda tough to run a household, to water the lawn, feed the pets, do the chores...plus it's not very fun being by myself all day. But the situation did allow me to throw a little get together at my house with a few people. I got drunk for the first time in muskegon and for the first time with some of my friends. I've seen everyone at least once, including joslyn, except for Kenesha. It's hard because she works so much. I'm feeling really lonely right now. But I'm sure that'll pass. I'm gonna hang out with Katie tomorrow. I'll be happy to see her.
