Well I just walked twenty minutes in the rain, so now I'm soaking wet! Yay! It was fun though, in an insane kind of way. Since we're on the coast of the UK, we caught the tail-end of one of the hurricanes, and it was pretty windy as well.

An Account of Gamestars Live
The London underground service was pretty terrible on Sunday, since the entire circle line and most of the district line was closed off, meaning we had to change trains countless times to reach the ExCel building. It was really crowded too, because so many people were going to either Gamestars or London Nails 2004 (or something like that.)
Gamestars itself was great. I got loads of flyers, booklets and freebies from the various stands, and all the big gaming companies were there. I got to play The Sims 2 and Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green, which was very cool. Emily won a GBA SP in the competition, and she's also keen to get a copy of the new Pokémon game when it's released (October 1st.) I did end up buying a new game. My parents weren't too pleased about it, since it was their money I was spending, but I did get some money off it, and if they're prepared to send me off with Ł30, they should be prepared to take the consequences. So anyway, Emily and I both had a good time, and we want to go next year as well!
I was so tired in school today, from all the walking about, so I wasn't in the greatest of moods. Of course, this wasn't exactly helped by the fact that my friend Claire responded to our trip to Gamestars with 'Oh my god, you losers!" Nice of her.

The new RS teacher at school is pretty useless. She couldn't control the class, and so the townies were yelling stupid remarks, leaving me with a bad headache by the end. And I don't like her attitude towards the class. She said "I know some of you aren't practicing Christians..." in a way that made you think she has this fantasy that everyone's Christian but hasn't realised it yet. She's the type of Christian who want to ram the religion down our throats..
