Did I really not update in so long? I meant to write some stuff about Athens, but I seem to have forgotten. I may do this later.
Anyway, Christmas was ok this year. Got DVDs, manga, books, CDs, games and various smaller things. I still haven't had presents from either of my aunts and uncles, because of various complications, and one of the CDs my parents ordered off Amazon for me hasn't arrived yet (they gave us a £5 credit for the lateness, but I don't know whether I'm allowed it, or whether my parents are keeping it for themselves.)
I was in Brighton today, which was unusually disappointing. Dave's Comics didn't have anything interesting... I was hoping they'd have some of the new Go!comi titles, but they didn't, which was annoying because I really, really want Cantarella volume 1. Borders, while shrinking their manga shelf space somewhat, had quite a few surprising titles in stock, particularly the Ice Kunion manhwa titles, which I hadn't expected to see, but I didn't end up buying anything. What I did end up buying was a copy of Pokémon Emerald, along with the latest issue of Neo.

Today I finished inking the cover of chapter one of my webcomic, and started pencilling the first page. It's taken a while, and numerous redraws, but I'm getting there gradually. I'm going to scan the cover page and colour it (hopefully before Athens) and I'll put it onto deviantART, then I'll get myself a comicgenesis account set up and hopefully it'll be up and running by the end of the year.

Athens
Just a quick update because I'm in the middle of drawing the cover page for the first chapter of my webcomic (link coming once I get it set up online!) The comic convention on Sunday was good, and I now have considerably less money, and next month I'm going to be finding myself trying not to spend money yet again, because not only do I have Christmas presents to buy, but I'm also off to Athens on the 16th for a school residential, which will hopefully be good fun (my friends are going, and the people I don't like aren't - what could be better?) I wonder what the weather's going to be like, though... I hope it's not going to be really cold.. it's bad enough here in England at the moment.

Ok... I haven't updated in ages ^_^
Anyway, I've had a busy couple of days and I'm really tired now, but I actually have something worth updating about.
Yesterday evening I was at a friend's party from seven until eleven, which was cool. There was alcohol involved, but I didn't drink any, obviously. There weren't many people who were completely drunk off their heads, although some girl drank loads, and might have thrown up (I'm not sure, she was scary, so I kept away.) I met some new people, which was cool (I actually talked to strangers!) There weren't many from Sion there, but I knew the ones that were, plus I saw a couple of people from Davisons as well. So overall, it was a pretty good evening.
Today I went up to London with my mother and a friend from school. We went to an anime festival at County Hall, which was good. I entered a character design contest (which was cool, except for the fact that they had lights in the room where we were drawing that kept changing colour... pink, green, blue, red... it was enough to make me feel ill by the end.) There was a decent size trade area, where I spent most of my money. I bought volumes six and seven of Naruto, volume two of Full Metal Alchemist, a Sasuke poster, a D.N.Angel poster, a cute little keyring of Envy from FMA, a shitajiki with Naruto and Gaara on, a pencil case with the Akatsuki cloud design from Naruto, and my personal favourite buy of the day: a Full Metal Alchemist doujinshi! It's a gen one, rather than a specific pairing, because I'm not much of a fan of FMA pairings. I will admit to being a bit of an EnvyxEd fan at times, but it's a pretty rare pairing. I was a little disappointed there were no SasuxNaru doujinshi (there wasn't much Naruto doujinshi at all; most of it was Prince Of Tennis or Saiyuki or FMA, usually of the RoyxEd variety) but it was very cool to find doujinshi on sale in the UK. So yeah, it was a cool day overall. I'm going to be so tired by tomorrow, though.
