Youve got to be shitting me.
Ok so right off the bat, shamefully I want one. I have no clue why!

NOTHING ON THIS IS NEW OR INNOVATIVE!

iPad
Apple iPad

From a innovation standpoint nothing is new here folks. The only thing you get out of this is a larger piece of glass than your iPod Touch or iPhone.

My best attempt to understand how someone came up with this idea is as follows: Apple employee is walking into work listening to his iPod without paying attention he walks into an low standing object and falls. As he is falling, he drops his brand new eReader. As he lands, the eReader and the Ipod drop to the ground. They fall landing together followed buy the mans head on the pavement. When the man wakes up he rubs his head and looks down to see them together and wonder what would have happened had he only had one object to carry.
Bam.
Box it.
Giant iPod touch will solve this!

Nothing new is here. Lets compare it to a typical netbook you can find at the same cost elsewhere. Something where you don't pay for a badge.
A good solid example of such a product would be this: Asus eee Netbook PC

Looking at a same priced model we can find a much better machine!
1.66Ghz Intel Atom processor
-iPad 1GHz Apple A4
Asus eee runs at 1024x600
-iPad run 1024x768
Asus eee has 160Gb hard drive or higher!
-iPad runs in 16,24, or 32Gb
The Asus has its own 2Gb of memory. The iPad runs off its flash drives!
Both have bluetooth.
Both have microphones.
Both have audio jacks. Asus has both in and out.
Both have Lithium Ion batterys with 6+hrs of life.
iPad does not support a lan line. Asus does.
Both include a wifi with b/g/n support.
The Asus features either a full version of WinXp/Win7 or Linux. iPad comes in a almost full formate of Mac.
Both can use SD memory cards.
Asus offers a webcam, mock it, but its there.

So the end result is, more processing power. More drive space. Full functionality of a tablet. Not a douche feeling. If I ever see someone with one of these I will make sure to slap it out of their hands onto the ground where I will then spit on it.EeeTop PC ET1602C End of Story.

Nothing new. We've seen touch screens before. We've seen the App Store already. We've seen this look slim item look before. We've seen cellphone coverage on netbook/tablets before. What is new? Nothing. Simply a rehash mismatch of the netbook idea and the ever popular iPhone/iPod Touch.

How do you do it man?
I dont know...I guess I dont think about it.

...When you do think about it, just remember you do it because if you arent doing it, someone else will. That someone else could have a hell of a lot more going for them than you. Dont let them suffer when you have nothing to offer up.

Others cant deal with it, you deal with it because they cant. You do it do they dont get hurt. You do it for them. Its easy.
Out of mind.

Green Street Hooligans
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air.
They fly so high,
Nearly reach the sky,
Then like my dreams,
They fade and die.
Fortune's always hiding,
I've looked everywhere,
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air.

:: Music: MGMT- Time to Pretend

Yeah it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?/ Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?
I'm feeling rough, I'm feeling raw, I'm in the prime of my life
Let's make some music, make some money, find some models for wives
I'll move to Paris, shoot some heroin and fuck with the stars
You man the island and the cocaine and the elegant cars

This is our decision to live fast and die young
We've got the vision, now let's have some fun.
Yeah it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Forget about our mothers and our friends
We were fated to pretend

I'll miss the playgrounds and the animals and digging up worms
I'll miss the comfort of my mother and the weight of the world
I'll miss my sister, miss my father, miss my dog and my home
Yeah, I'll miss the boredom and the freedom and the time spent alone

But there is really nothing, nothing we can do
Love must be forgotten, life can always start up anew
The models will have children, we'll get a divorce
We'll find some more models, everything must run its course

We'll choke on our vomit and that will be the end
We were fated to pretend

Hey, c'mon, tell me you love me

I hate when a comedian can say something so very true and memorable.

"Life is about choice. We are the sum of our choices. And most of them are made for us. You can't choose when you're born. You can't choose where you are born. You can't choose your family. You can't even choose who you love. But you can choose how you love."

Ramblings.
I see the world around me and I feel broken.
I ask myself what may come of this world, I cannot answer. Only the wind knows.
I pray what I see of the world around, that the things I see might aid me in the years to come.
If I feel broken, then should not the world around me break? Should it not crumble?

Convenience led us here to sloth. Hope only that you may be blessed to float.
