Hung out with Kevin and Tony P yesterday night...Tony caught me playing WoW so the 3 of us got into a talk about good MMO's for Tony to try since he's into D&D stuffz.

EQ was a direct no.
CoH was a far shot...its way too simple.
WoW a possibility....its catchy.

Finally we came into Star Wars: Galaxies. Shane came over and told Tony all about it...he liked the sound of it. Kevin did too....now they want me to go get it and play with the 2 of them...

First off Kevin wants to be a Light Jedi..."its one of those things...I just have to be the good jedi..i dont know..." Tony wants to be Bounty Hunter "Ill blow shit up" I just think the whole damn idea of the game looks way too technical for me. So Im very scetchy. Plus Im enjoying WoW still, I got my mount...im refreshed...Im at that point where no matter where I go, someone wants my help. Priests > All

I guess its another thing that depends on me getting a better job.

Prospects
Okay well I talked more with Oliver and Kattie. Apparently they DO need another person to move in with them. Im gonna go look at the house on Saturday, so we shall see if this prospect of being out of my house will do. Also since Kattie and Oliver know I needed a better job if I was going to be moving in with them, Olvier gave me the number of the place he is working at. It sounds rather easy. Olver is telling me that this job pays somewhere around $1220.00 a month after taxes. Thats over $14k a year, and $300 a week. The rent at Kattie and Olivers house was going to either be $190 or $220 a month. Thats 1 week of work for rent, the rest would be car payment, car insurance, bills, expenses.

Im thinking if I get a job at this place, Ill go ahead and get a cell phone, and a newer car. My parents still havent gotten me anything for graduation, so maybe I can have them buy me a cell. Just a prepay one for now...it all depends on this job...

My parents are having me look for a different car, because mine sucks. Theyve been rather instistant on a 1986 Feiro GT....white I think. Its not too damn bad looking.

I like the back end of it...its better. The front of it is just weird because they used more curves, the rest of the car isnt curvy.

Anyway yeah, I would have that job for a good couple months...how it would work around school Im not sure, I would have to find out. Its full time so, I guess come fall or winter I would need to be looking for another job. =/ I want to move out so bad, just because my parents are so frickin annoying...

So whats everyone else up to?

Ive started looking for a better job, cause I need one that does more than put gas in my car. I can assume that Ill have a job come fall working for my dad, but thats a few months away. Its sounding like eDen will be needing 2 or 3 part time people....but that job chance is about as big as the fine print on a tv commercial. [i.e. not happening in most respects.]

Because I have a very small and crappy resume, I cant exactly try and get a good job, so most my options are bound to be working fast food, restaurants, and retail stores like Meijer or Walmart.
....Who knows, maybe Ill get lucky and fine a decent job.

EDIT: It angers me that online places like monster and mlive dont gear towards students [e.g. HS grads or College students.] if they did, they might be better off, because we all know that our generation is more apt to want to look for a job in a easy and simple manner. Also it angers me more when the only jobs you find are phone salespersons. Who would honestly degrade themselve and do that? We all know that we hate those people who call, so why take a job like that and continue the cycle?

Woke up early today...I hope thats not a reoccuring thing.

Went and did some things for my mom, then went and got my Diploma. Its all cool n junk. I had even better news when I got back and opened the mail. Since I took that stupid ACT Workkeys test, which by the way an eight-year-old could pass, I got the $2,500 from the state. Id say Im glad I decided dto put up with taking it.

Ive continued to look for comps that maximize my money with good parts. So far Ive got a computer that has the mimimums of what I want for $900. The highest Ive seen was $1100. Im shooting for $900-1000 range.

Begun it has
...wow I just realized something. A murder is a grouping of crows...randomness.

The weekend wasnt bad, but I felt on the go all the time. Friday slept in for a good while. In my opinion I spent $100's for a stadium chair, a blanket, a bag for the blanket, and a t-shirt. Whoopey...

Saturday my family got an early start and took the 8hr trip to Wisconson for my families friends open house. < That doesnt make sense in those words, but I cant find a good way to make sense of it. > We got there around 4pm cst Ate pizza and hung out with everyone there. Sunday was the open house party, it was good. The afternoon was slow, but after 7pm its even better. We started up a good tounry of texas-hold'em $5 buy-in. We played 2places paid, I got 2nd, 1st place got the pot and 2nd got the money back. That ended by 9 so another started back up. This time it was $10 buy-in. I went out on the last before places with cash. The nice part about being there is the alcohol...that doesnt sound good, but its Wisconson, and that family is a drinking one. When our 2 families are together theres 1 rule for children 17+ : No beer unless your not leaving. Since the parents were all drunk, it made the poker fun.

The other good part was the $1 for 1 ball in a "closest to pin wins the pot" I was attempting to hit all day with a right handed wedge, Im a lefty, even though Im not a golfer. I came 2" from winning another $20. I was pissed.

Monday morning we left again, another 8hr drive. I love how we managed to get through Chicago without any problems. All the people clogged the opposite directiong when we went through. So now Im back home. Ive got a new Reggae cd to listen to as well.

Drama
I went and saw Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. I must say that there were alot of good parts, the battles mostly, and there was also something very wrong with it. Anyone else think that the way they had Skywalker turn into Vader seem really cheesey?

The part where he goes to stand up in his costume the first time was like seeing a really bad frankenstien movie as he raised his hands and shouted,"Noooo!" OR the part when Palpetine kills Mace, and Skywalker is crying about being wrong one second and then suddenly willing to be evil the next. It was just corny. Also the whole way the presented the changing of vehicles was a little fast. Theres a void of 15+ years that they could have changed the ships and junk. But they decide to show you in the course of a movie that it changes.

Helped my mom with some things she wanted done before my open house. Im still amazed that Im walking, graduating, in little more than a week.

I went to the gas station today and realized that I was broke...it was annoying. I guess I wont be doing anything until I work next and get some cash in my pocket. Which is fine because I work Friday and Saturday.

If you want to do something give me a call or post a comment, I suppose. Im going to see Star Wars on Sunday, probably after 8pm. I was thinking of spend some cash on eden, then going to the movies. I guess I like to switch one chair for another and change the screen size at the same time.
