hot damn
Every day I think about what's going to happen. I really want to join the Army right now. I want to do this for me physically and mentally. I want to be able to make some kind of difference, help the country. I have to say, I don't exactly care for Bush, but being able to fight for the country is something I want to do. I've already talked to two recruiters. After talking with the both of them I realized that this is something I really want to do. Yes, I do realize that there is more than a 50/50 chance of being sent over seas and more than a 50/50 chance of being killed, but at least I did if for a good reason. At this point no one is going to change my mind. I just hope that people understand this is something I want to do and will support me all they can.

Flags of our Fathers
I finished All Quiet on the Westward Front the other day. I just ordered The Emperor's General and I'm in the middle of reading Flags of Our Fathers. Flags of our Fathers is a very good book. It takes the Iwo Jima memorial and takes each guy from it and talks about him and his life. The book also talks about the war more in depth.

time for a real post. I got the book All Quiet on the Westward Front 3 days ago. I'm almost done. I probably have at least 2 more chapters left. Good book.
Sergeant Curry (my recruiter) was at lunch today. I talked to him for a bit. I got some free shit. I love free shit.
I ended up going to Family Fare for ice cream, I walk at least 10 steps and I hear my name being called from Rite Aid. It was Brian, Mike, and Cody. Great times.
