^ good freakin song!
I'm really stressed out lately. I realized this at work today when my neck and shoulders were really stiff. I dunno if thats why, but I'll blame stress. Someone please, I'm begging you, I need some massage love. But anyways. As you know my car was stolen a few months ago and so I've been using my mom's car for all my errands and priorities... which in essence makes me feel guitly because she doesn't have ready transportation. And if her boyfriend or cousin aren't available she's stuck. Also, our band was evicted from our practice spot so we've been using my dad's garage to practice. So whenever we're there he can't watch TV or a movie or anything because we drown everything out... cuz thats how rock & roll we are!!! WOOO! I'd like to soundproof the garage, but that'd be a lot of work for a non permanent place. Anyways, between using my mom's car and my dad's garage I feel like a piece of shit mooch monster and its stressing me out. Because before I can get a car I have to switch to a credit union for better car loan service, and the garage situation is out of my control. I have no idea where we can practice, and the other guys have leads... kinda. But still I'm stressed!! And to top it off Kyle (lead guitar) wants to find a place to move out with him and thats just adding to it. Yay for school starting in a week... that'll ease all my worries............... :ALKJFD:ALSKDAL:JKDF:LAJKD"ALKJALJK:FD:LA

Oh Man!! Erin blows me away, I can't believe how awesome she is. Yet another reason for me to visit Michigan. It must be something in the water because every female (dual-spirited included) is really awesome and wonderful and fun to talk to. Its weird how I met all of you.. being so far away and all, but I am absolutely glad that I did. You are all wonderful wonderful people and I should move the entire state of Michigan next to California... who needs Nevada.

UGGGG!!
where did this sudden trend for Ugs come from? Back in 3rd grade I first remember seeing them and I hated them. They ruined the image of my then crush Lindsey when she wore them. Now I see them coming back and I realize I still hate them. Sure they may be comfortable and keep your feet warm, but they're ugly... hence the name UGs. Being naked is comfortable but people dont walk around nude. Have some style people!! UGGGG!!!! Normally I don't care about these kinds of things, but they're UGs, and I passionately hate UGs

Thats what Paso Robles did yesterday in the 6.5 earthquake. It was crazy, I've never experienced an earthquake that big before. I was at work and it was the classic "run in between a door frame" scenario. Things were flying off shelves, glass shattered, insanity. They let me go home real quick to check and make sure nothing drastic happened at home. Everything was cool for the most part except my computer. My mom's uncle built my computer for me and when he brought it over he told me to put it up on top of the desk instead of on the ground... smart move. It had collapsed and dove to the ground. Otherwise, the house was just a mess, like in the movies when the bad guys are looking for something in the house and they open all the drawers and there are things strewn about the ground. But other than that, my family and I were ok.... which can't be said for others. Paso Robles is an old town and the people here cherish historic buildings, which means some are outdated and not reinforced. So we had two brick building go down in downtown. The bricks seriously flattened a big Escalade and killed three people. This is the biggest thing to happen to our town in forever. Governor Schwarzenegger is even gonna be here today. And as I was listening to the news yesterday they were saying they're declaring a tsunami warning. TSUNAMI!! insane. Even though we wouldn't be affected, thats still crazy to think about. Anyways, I feel I did a really shitty job composing this journal, pero tengo prisa because I have to go to work.

Oh well, you've got me under your spell
I reunited with a temporarily lost friend last night. When we first met she absolutely astonished me, and I was in awe with how perfect she was. I always looked forward to talking to her on a daily basis. Shortly after us meeting I was enraptured by her and how good she made me feel. All of a sudden we lost contact, but a day didn't go by where I didn't think about her. But last night we met again and it was just like always. I care about her a lot and I hope we don't lose contact again. I miss you.

A Dream of Mine
In a very small hotel room, there were bunk beds. Three guys were talking amongst themselves, while three of us were hanging out. Across the street through the window I noticed and pointed out mini-vans floating helicopter-like in front of a tall building across the street, with huge mini guns propped to the sides really blasting the place. In my moment of astonishment the other three men pulled out guns for an assassination attempt on one of us. I walked over to grab the pistol of the center guy’s hand and he shot through my thumb and wrist and it hurt so bad, I actually felt it. But I ended up wrestling the gun from him and pulled it away and began shooting. I shot one of the lackeys and as he fell he let loose a rain of bullets on my companions. The other lackey ran out of the room shooting at my legs. I remember thinking how badly it hurt when I was shot before and I didn’t want it to happen again. I felled him with a series of bullets. And eventually down came the older gentleman in the center, who had shot my hand. One of my companions, an asian, got shot up pretty badly, many times, while another of my companions only got hit in one major area. They both collapsed while I proceeded to blast the three men until they were dead. My companions ended up getting into the upper bunk. Standing there alone I kept cocking my gun over and over, because I had never held or used a gun before and it felt weird to actually do it. Then the building through the window exploded and collapsed shaking up our hotel. I peeked outside of the room and noticed two men standing to one side of the door, I could only assume they were there to finish the job. I slammed shut the door and there happened to be a huge gap between the door and the frame and one of the men began shooting at me while the other guy just stayed behind the shooter. I shot back as I pivoted around until I had a better view. As the gap got bigger I noticed the man was Tim Allen and behind him was Leonardo DiCaprio. I took out DiCaprio easily, for he had no gun and Allen cowered away at the death of his comrade. I stepped outside the room to pursue him. Denizens of the hotel watched with pallid expressions as I held the gun straight out as Tim Allen backed up and I shot him in the left side of his forehead. I went back inside and mysteriously another little boy was in the room and he had been shot. I stayed by the sink and kept cocking my gun over and over. A knock came at the door, I readied my gun for another shooting but I found out it was security and turned the gun around in my hand for a pistol whip. I opened the door and struck the security guy, who happened to be a younger guy, about my age and directly behind him was a younger girl, about my age as well, who was also a security guard. I swung and hit but as I realized it was a girl I slowed my hit drastically so it only tapped her, grabbed her arm and pulled her in, then grabbed the unconscious guard and dragged him into the room. For some reason it seemed there were a lot more unaccounted people in the room and we explained to the conscious guard what had happened. By then the injured Asian had passed away and I remember another dead body lay buried under the covers in the bed. Everyone had gotten out of the bed and I remember my friends Zach Ulibarri and David Palm were amongst the accounted and unaccounted and were discussing what our next plan of action was to be. We knew we had to get out of there in order to avoid more shootings. David suggested “Sizzler, because it’s open all night” END.

I remember feeling very disappointed when the phone woke me up and wrenched me from my dream. Did I like killing the people? I certainly didn’t enjoy being shot or shot at. I was extremely fascinated by cocking and re-cocking the gun. I think my most enjoyment came from being the important one, the protector. They relied on me to live. It felt good to be needed.

December 19th, Before The Storm has their first official show. Sure they had one at some girl's birthday party, but that was when they didn't really have a singer. Now they have a singer, and they'll be playing with three other bands and for an audience of hardcore listeners/critics. They are practically headlining. It's Pyre's demo release concert and Before The Storm plays second to last, now thats pretty awesome considering its their first show. But anyways, I expect everyone who reads this to be there. Even you Kuwaiti kids!

Last week we got evicted from our practice storage place. The managers told us the owner was tired of dealing with all the bands (there are like 5 who play in there) so we were bummed/pissed and we didn't know what we were gonna do about finding a place. The only option that surfaced right away was going to San Luis Obispo which is about 30-40 minutes away, which would be a bitch on the gas situation driving there and back 6 days a week. But we were gonna do what we had to. Then a few days later I'm talking online to my friend Sandra aka Sweet Lady from the Tyrese song and she asks if I know of anyone who wants to move out or needs a place to live because one of her roommates is moving to San Diego. So I say "yo no se" and then the subject is dropped. I then bring up the eviction crap and she kinda jokingly suggests that if I move in we could use their garage to practice. I laugh it off cuz, y'know, I'm no where near moving out..... or am I? I calculate my monthly earnings and rent would only consume half of it, plus maybe 20-30 bones for utilities. So the next day I check with my job and see if I can become more permanent after my "project" is finished, and its confirmed. I thought to myself "why would I want to spend half my paycheck to live somewhere when I can live with my mom for free? Its not like she's strict and doesn't let me do what I want." but I'm gonna be 21 in 11 days, I need to grow up and start experiencing the real world. So yay for me, I'm gonna be living with two ladies starting in January.

P.S. Sandra text messaged me last night with: "its gonna be like Three's Company. one blonde, one brunette and one guy.. except you don't have to pretend to be gay when the landlord comes by"
I replied with: "Yeah, but I'll still wear hot pants"

I'm watching The Price Is Right at this moment and there was this beautiful girl on it. I don't know how her name was spelled, but it was pronounced Rook-Lon-Thee I'm guessing that she's of middle eastern decent. Oh man, for those who know me, you know its a big freakin deal. Why can't I meet someone like her

What does "quixotic" mean?
Dear Diary....
Today, Kyle, Kris and I went to San Jose. It was a spur of the moment type thing. Kyle messaged me at about 1 and asked if I wanted to go buy me some bass equipment, so we left about an hour later. I wasn't looking forward to driving all day, but it was fun times. Good tunes there and back, jokes about turds and farting and penis sizes and how the whole crew of cheerleaders came and sat near us at In-n-Out because we're in a band, thus we're sexy. But anyways, I bought:
1 Ampeg SVT4pro 1200w/1600w Bass Head
1 Ampeg SVT810E 1600w Bass Cabinet
1 Road Ready RRGUED GSP Rack
2 Koag DIGI Tuners
1 10ft Premium Inst Cable
1 Bob Bryan Poly Grip Strap (pretty blue strap)
1 Zildjian 19in CST Projection Crash

The second tuner I bought for Kyle and the Cymbal I bought for Kris... aren't I a sweetheart?

I know most of that stuff means nothing to my audience... hell most of it means nothing to me, but what I do know is that all of that was $4200 and what did I end up paying?? $2600. Thats a discount of $1600. Pretty damn good. It's because I'm a slut and I did sexual favors for it. For those of you who don't know me, I'm joking. You just gotta work the sales people like its a car dealership, barter with them... "How bout you throw those cables in for free?" The digital tuners cost about $180 a piece... well Kyle got the guy to give us two of them for $150. Over half the price. Man, we're awesome and now with my HUGE cabinet I'm gonna rumble the place. I mean, its just short of reaching my shoulders, this suckas big.

- Love Joe
