My mother was horror striken when I asked if it would be okay to wear flip-flops to prom. She looked as if I had told her I was going to renounce subject pronouns forever.

I don't want to spend money on shoe-oos.

It's all so banal.

I know! I was looking for shoes today. I couldn't find any. I wore flip-flops to homecoming, i don't see the problem with them. I ended up taking mine off to dance anyways so...

i know....god. i'm going to take them off, anddddd we're having the dress altered so it's not going to touch the floor. and i'll never wear them again. probably. at least not on a bi-daily basis.

i wore flip-flops to my junior prom...senior prom too i think but i cant remember...who really looks at the shoes? you take them off five minutes after you get there anyway.

i wore my green shoes to every 'major' dance in my high school 'career'.

Be yourself and dance like a chicken. Nobody even cares.
