It all makes perfect sense and works out fine, but it's just far more complex than anyone would like to believe it is. So then people try to make things simple by creating concepts like karma that make life as easy as: you do bad things, bad things happen, you do good things good things happen. However, such generalizations never work.

So in so many words, yeah karma really doesn't work. Shit will still happen if you're being good, just as good things will still happen when you're being bad.

Ultimately what happens doesn't matter though. All that matters is how you react to things, and why you reacted the way you did. After all, if you are doing good things JUST to make your life better, then you really aren't doing good things for the right reason are you?

Well, pardon my long philosophical comment. Regardless, I hope you feel better either now, or soon...
