Well there isn't a great deal happening in my life at the moment. I went to the mall with my mom and sister yesterday, and managed to find (and buy) the last FLCL DVD (leaving me with the FLCL series :D ). Otherwise we barely bought anything, and I had to fight back sleep through half the endeavor.

Today I pretty much just worked around the house moving {insert object name here} to {insert location here}. I also rented the game Siren, which appears to be the first REALISTIC survival horror game (for once weapons and ammunition perfectly matching your weapons are not strewn across the landscape, and the enemies don't always know exactly where you are). Although I really have to say it may also be roughly the most difficult game I've played to date... (it took me 40 minutes to get through a town with only four buildings and four monsters, and that's only counting the time it took on my third- and only successful- attempt)

Otherwise nothing interesting seems to be happening here right now...

Siren looks pretty good, so you'll have to tell me more about it before I go out and play it or buy it.

Oooh, it's awesome. The graphics are beautiful (think a toned down version of "Silent Hill fog" combined wiht the most eerily realistic facial expressions I've ever seen, and some of the coolest special effects I can recall in a game). The control is kind of strange at first, but works well. The weapons are EXTREMELY rare and you have to literally ration out EACH bullet to make through the levels, since you won't be getting any more anytime soon. The monsters are insanely difficult to deal with, particularly the snipers (yes that's right, zombie snipers), and half the levels either require you to move around completely unarmed, sneak someone around with you (my favorite being the blind girl you have to lead through rice field), or a combination of both. Ultimately it's incredibly difficult (I've spent about 5+ hours on it and maybe cleared 4 stages), but if you have the patience for it, I give it my highest recommendation.

Another little warning, it really isn't much of a scary game in the usual sense. So, for instance, you won't find dozens of mutilated corpses and witness ultra gory sights, and the soundtrac never goes for a cheap scare by giving you a couple of really unnerving sounds (though the sirens themselves can be rather creepy sometimes). Really it's more suppsensful and eerie than anything(especially in the level where you get to the ocean and it has turned into blood and has zombies walking through it).
