| I think snafu is my favorite word/acronym. I have a different favorite word. I ended up actually going to the all-nighter at eDen (the local cyber cafe) last night. I wasn't going to but I decided to be spontaneous since that's the only way things are fun. I showed up at eDen around a quarter to 10 and was told by my mother that I could only stay until 2 (it lasted until 10 this morning). I played DDR, watched Nick, Ben and Brett play whatever they were playing and met three Woohu friends/people I talked to via Woohu. I called my mom at 2 and convinced her (it was easy) to let me stay the whole time. I played DDR, Super Smash Brothers Melee and watched people play whatever. I crashed fast and after I got tired, I got loopy. We ended up leaving around 8 because we were all too tired/bored to play anything. And we were all acting like we were high/drunk/whatever. Ben turned an innocent-looking game background into a horrible perverted....ug. But it was fun. It was the best. Everything last night/this morning is a blur. I remember all the guys hitting on me. That sort of sucked. A lot. And I remember getting tons of people to play DDR. Anyway, from eDen we headed to Ben's and we all curled up and fell asleep watching Meet the Parents. Ben and Brett fell asleep fast but Nick and I couldn't sleep/didn't want to. I ended up falling asleep at 10ish and waking up around noon. I was lonely until Ben woke up around who knows when. Then I fell asleep for a bit. So we all hung around and I just got home. Our computer upstairs is starting to fall apart. The monitor won't work. This message in a BSOD box pops up and says something about a connection or something. I don't remember. So I am/was freaking out about that. I called Ben and Nick (note that I had just gotten home from Ben's) and felt really stupid asking Nick said the graphics card might've come loose or blown. I'm hoping the former. He did say that those were the good things, the fixable things, and that it was best to concentrate on those before jumping to horrible conclusions. I don't even know what card in our computer is the graphics card so he might come over to check it out maybe. All in all, last night/this morning was excellent and today was even better. If our computer can just be okay... I love you all. |
