Subject: com 101
i have to give a speech wherein i compare myself to something or someone. i.e. "i'm like a guitar because..." this is terribly hard for me to do. i've never thought i was like anyone or anything in the first place. i thought long and hard, and i came up with something silly that i could maybe pull off. but before i pencil that idea in, i was wondering if you guys have any suggestions.

1. that was my idea! of course you had to guess it. darn our esp.

2. hmm. i would need to give evidence as to how i rock everyone's world so i could proove my ethos. could you imagine me in front of my class? "yeah, i'm awesome. i rock everyone's world with my sexy neck. people of all ages, races, and beliefs have been seduced by it.

so, in conclusion, i am like a guitar because i have a sexy neck. hooray for me, and especially hooray for you, because you get to look at it everyday!"

3. how am i like snuggles the bear? do i randomly show up in people's laundry? do i enjoy snuggling myself inside blankets? do i twitch? please explain.

4. i am like han solo because i shoot laser guns? because i have awesome pants with yellow stripes down the side? because i've fallen into the pit of doom and been frozen in carbonite? because i never say "i love you"? because jabba the hut wants me dead?

5. oh, i got it! i am like indiana jones because my father is sean connery!

Ok this might not be the most insightful response, but I immediately thought of Stevie Y for some reason...

(1) silent leader

(2) orchestrates everything but doesn't always get the credit

(3) doesn't retaliate to big dumb meatheads

(4) not the figurehead/star but everyone would fall apart without you

(5) selfless
