A neat and orderly dwelling is the sign of a disturbed mind. I totally believe that.

If you are satisfied with the amount of control you have over your life, you won't care where thigns are as long as you know where they are; it won't matter that the books aren't stacked in alphabetical order or that the needles in the pincushion aren't all parallel to one another.

When you're a neatness freak, you're only trying to take control of your life by exerting your control over your surroundings and dwelling space.

So really I'm not a slob. I'm just in control.

So if the shirts in your closest are organized by their color then you feel your not in control of your life so you feel that organizing everything else helps or something?

i didn't use grey much so... i always had trouble memorizing the c's.

not too poop all over your party, but it sounds to me like you're just trying to rationalize your own unorganized, cluttered lifestyle by giving organized people a bad wrap. and for an organized person to say he's in control of his life any more than you are merely because his sock drawer is neat would be just as foolish. remember dear tot, we musn't hasten to scientific conclusions based on simple generalizations. *sly grin*
