i dont see a cage in the car.. id raise a bullshit flag that the car ran an 11.5 as it was setup.. If it did i would check the frame..

There isnt much to a vega.. that much power would twist that bitch into a pretzel..

but it is a nice lookin car..

if your going to spend that kind of money.. you should atleast get something with a full frame..

Convertibles running faster than 13.49 must have rollbar and SFI 16.1 restraints
Helmet must be Snell 95, K98, 2000, 2005, SFI 31.1, 31.2, 31.1a, 31.2a, 31.1/2005, 41.1, 41.1a, 41.2, 41.2a, 41.1/2005. SFI 31.x = SA SFI 41.x = M
IHRA also allows Snell 90, for this class only.
If your helmet doesn't have a clearly marked designation from this list, don't be pissed if you get turned away.

rollbar starts at 11.49, cage starts at 10.00

its got cutsom 4link suspension and with that you have to fabricate a rear subframe, it just happens that the rear subframe and connectors are 1 peice. and connected to the front subframe.

Car is definatally posiable of running 11.5

Im not talking about track rules.. im talking about the fact that the subframe on that car with or without the rear subrame being built for the 4 link is not strong enough in the front to support alot of power without a cage and frame ties.

Anyone who plans on running that fast of a 1/4 in a vega will put in a cage and frame ties..

The cage should be there to support all the power. A cage is usually what makes up for lack of a full frame..
