life can be good to you, but you can't wait for it to be good to you. you can't just stand there waving "i'm open! i'm open!" you have to get in there. life won't pass you happiness like a ball in a game. you have to go tackle it. sure you don't have any 0padding or protection, but think of it as rugby. get hurt, get in there, it's all good.

son of a bitch
i just want to be done with school for the year, no exams, just want to be home. but not home home, home as in living in my house with the same rules i have here at school.....none.

i dont want to get a job, but i have to, plus whatever money i make i can get a car with , and i can guarentee my mom will give me some too, or my grandma, just because thats how they are. i still have to go to best buy, i really would like to get a job there, because it would be super easy for me. but i doubt i'll be able to now because its so late. my other option is plumbrook golf course in steling heights driving the "beverage cart" as long as no one sucked that up alaready, it was in the paper last weekend, i called but the guy said i had to come in. what i wanted to say was "im at school dumbass, or i would have" but instead i just said "alright, thanks". and im doing boat stuff with aunt jan....who by the way still owes me $10 for putting that cover on that boat with her over easter weekend.....that was hard as hell.

so i have 4 exams :-(
monday : 1130-130 theatre 111 (thatre history, not acting laura)
tuesday 8-10am history 131 (am. history up to civil war)
3-5 english 255 (brit lit)
7-9 phys ed 211 (anatomy!) ahhh
i have to get at least a 76 to get a 2.3 :-/ thats a reallly rough class, and i hate it. and it sounds like nothing to get a 76, but its like 123941 times harder than you think.

so i just woke up, and mom and craig are on their way to pick up my goods to bring home. its only like 50 and not sunny, it looks like its going to pour, but it did that last night at like 1 am, so i hope it doesnt now. they should get here around 11, so im thinking we can go eat first bc im starving.

so yesterday was the "day of woden" dont ask, i asked a couple of people, and no one knows why its called that. but basically its just a big fun party! blessed union of souls came and played, i helped set up their stage and got to play with the drums..and damn are the spot lights bright, i had to stand in one spot untill a light was right in my eyes. that sucked hard core, i was seeing spots for a while. there were inflateables too....a bungy run, inflatable rock climbing wall, inflatable bull that peole tried to konck you off of by pulling on the ropes and an obstacle course that you had to wear velcro vests through....that was rough. by the 3rd time i had it mastered though! i only lost 1 time! and the bungy run rocked me, i have this scrape on my elbow that feels like a gaping wound! when i got thrown back i think my arm draged on the velcrow in the middle part. then when i got in the shower last night and the second the water touched it i thought i was dying it hurt so bad. it was fun though. i got a free shirt too for volunteering, its beautiful!! not! its teal with pink and lime green writing, pink on front and lime green on back. they were supposed to be cool.....he cool blue color with red writing on front, but im not sure what the back was suposed to be. oh well, i'll still wear it. well i think thats it. yay

i feel like im high....not that i'd know though
so i went to health services this morning, and found out that i have a sinus infection and allergies. so i got allegra and amoxicilin. but on top of that i got the crazies at like 6 am, and took my last pill...so i needed something in place of it, so the nurse gave me ibprofin 800mg!

so ive taken all of that medication and i feel like im floating around

A bit of news on The Storm homefront. First off, we have a functioning website. www.beforethestorm.net let me know what you think. Also, I threw down $1000 on a 10,000 watt PA. But the fact that I won't even be using it is kind of a bummer, being that the PA is mainly for the singer and in our case, our drummer as well. But being the nice guy that I am and the fact that I'm the most responsible in the band, I actually had $1000 to spare. But anyways, yeah, just more heavy crap for us to carry around from show to show, but its good crap. We definitely need some roadies. Volunteers anyone? No, it'll be good once we get a trailer for our equipment. Right now its tough because we don't have enough large vehicles to load everything in one trip. But we'll be the one band in the Central Coast with the most badass shit. And I'm sure other bands will want to use our PA when they play with us, which will be no problem, but we're planning on charging a minimal fee. So that'll pay itself off in no time. The best news we have; we finally found a practice spot. Being in my dad's garage has put a definite cramp in our writing process. I noticed this creative hiatus when I realized that since our first show in December we've only added one other song to our set list. That's no good, we should have a least 3. But its cool. We'll be back in the grind soon enough. I'm excited about this. I haven't dedicated or invested so much into something, since... ever. I never have. This is very important and means a lot to me and I want to give it my all, because its all worth it. All the money, all the time, all the drama, its so worth it to be playing in front of people and having them cheer and come up afterwards and tell you how much they loved it or inquire about cd's or when another show is. Its the best feeling. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I feel so lucky.

i adore drain sth. i can't believe they broke up. what a waste of feminism, talent and beauty. *sings along at the top of her lungs* ALL OF MY LIFE, DRAINED OF EMOTION, I NEVER CRIED! (i never cired!) WHAT AM I NOW? A LACK OF DEVOTION? I NEVER TRIED... TO STAY INSANE... beautiful... so yeah.

i just showered, and put my hair in a french braid. it was dripping wet (literally) when i tied it so right now it's behaving itself. i'm so pleased, it's long enough to braid! not really, since there's little pieces of layers sticking out the braid, but still! there's none on my face (it's been washed back) and none on my neck (except the bottom part of the braid). woohu! i feel clean and girlish! i havne't had long hair in a while. it feels wierd. it's gonna be real hard growing it out longer, considering i haven't had hair much lower than my shoulders in about four years, but i'll live. it's entirely likely that i will hack it all off by summer though, despite my resolution otherwise. *shrugs* ah well. my hair. kaifee *sticks index finger to side of head*. i go now, because fay and reem are coming (coming) up the stairs, and we work. *waves*
