I love snow.
It was so beautiful today. I couldn't concentrate on anything. I just looked out the window all day. When I was outside I just watched it and all of its layers.
It was just falling... floating... slowly to the ground.
It's so beautiful...
Ah, I have some more of my favorite poet for you. I've gotten deeper into his poetry. It's so beautiful...
I don't believe he named any of his poems's either. I think that's better. Names restrict you and allude to a meaning. They can get the reader stuck in a box that is the definition of the title or their perceptions of it.
Anyway. I'm debating over the capitalization of his name. He capitalized it sometimes but many don't...

DAMN IT!
Ben told me today that Switchfoot was coming somewhere around here this weekend.
I mentioned it to Kelly and she said she saw that too. She thought the tickets were all sold out.
So I came home and looked it up.
They're coming to Calvin College on Thursday.
But Kelly was right. Sold out.
Grr. This is a horrible Monday.

It's Our Town.
I can't say I don't like the idea of being in a play. I love acting.

My sister, who turns 13 this Saturday, went into teenage-angst mode at my mother and I just a few minutes ago.
My mother, I am proud to say, kept her cool as my sister shouted at us blabbing on and on about something completely pointless.
My job as an older sister is to aggravate the situation and I must admit I succeeded though I much rather prefer I didn’t.
She pinched my arm…hard and punched me in the back more than once.
When I shouted at my mother, I got slapped.
Hannah just shouted and shouted before stomping up to her room, slamming her door and pounding on it a few times.
I remember doing that.
I got slapped though.
No retribution for Hannah.
I feel ashamed. Was I that awful?
Probably.
I feel bad about it now.

Manga ramblings
I was on CLAMP's site looking at their beautiful manga(s) that haven't come over here yet (or I haven't seen them) and testing out my oh so l33t Japanese skills.
And I find this one volume manga that, with my l33t stupid 1st year skills, I fathom to be My Loving Person or something to that extent.
It came out in 1995 so I conclude that it should be out here already. I mean, Chobits was out within two years.
So I dashed over to Tokyopop's site to see if I can find it. It's only one volume long so I don't hold any hope of it actually being there.
Shirahime was but only after 11 years.

No luck on Tokyopop. What would they call it anyway? My Loving Person? That's just stupid.
Anyway. I found some really beautiful CLAMP works I'm going to keep my eye out for. (xxxHOLiC just looks beautiful)
Oh I found it. It was just in the little manga magazines I think: (Watashi no Suki na Hito [insert hiragana here] was from Kadokawa Shoten under Young Rosé Comics Deluxe).
I found stuff about it in German: (Watashi no Suki na Hito [Der, den ich liebe]

I'm going to go sledding with my brother in a little bit. I think my sled is broken though.

I don't remember. I haven't gone sledding at all this year. Not counting Katie's lock-in. That was the first time I wore my glasses sledding. Bad idea. Better to be blind without than blind with.
That was an awful sentence.

Have you ever seen Marechal Niel roses?
They're beautiful.
My favorite flowers are lilacs then daffodils. Both short-lived.
My father got white roses for my mother. They smell so wonderful. They're the best smelling flowers next to lilacs. I can smell them very strongly from the living room and the flowers are in the kitchen.
White roses are now my third favorite.
And these Marechal Niel roses are now my fourth favorite. Only fourth because I have never seen them or smelled them or touched them.
Only these pictures. And the pictures are enough for me to realize that they are so beautiful.
And, of course, we live in the wrong climate zone for them to be grown.
I've updated too many times today. I'm sorry. I've just had many small random thoughts.
