Holy bawls!
Ive gotta love the apartment and I do. Still at the feeling of it being not my place but that will pass.
Thus far we all seem to like it and get along fine. I expect disputes to come about because none of us has been around each other for extended periods of time. Fortunately I think things can be worked out fine. Me and Pj always have managed to deal with shit without it carrying to far.
Um...oh. Pj was feeling rich so he got a bunch of entertainment type things for the apartment. So kudos x10 to him. I wasnt aware he was going to do such things so swiftly. The apartment is now happy to provide itself with a 42" widescreen 1080i television, a wii, and a nice LAN router/cable modem.
Im sure that pictures of the place will float by sooner or later if anyone cares.
Got my car back on Saturday morning, I guess the tires were shipped in faster than expected. So $200 later Im fine.
Still need to get a few things from home because I neglected to put them in my last load on Friday night. Table & chairs for dining area, testers paints, and asorted other things I will stumble across while back up at the house sometime this week.
Oh ya...we dont have internet and it is driving me insane. At least 10 times Ive caught myself opening firefox only to sigh as its "page cannot..."

The Going Price For Home
So I left work around 4:30 yesterday got maybe 5-6miles from the office and was another mile from getting onto 196 East. I cross some train tracks and to my ears I hear a glorious sound. Piff! Hisssssss!
Flat tire, rear driver side. I pull into the nearest parking lot just as the tire empties out of all its air. I get out to take a look. I have a nice 2-3" gash on the side wall ending on bottom side of the tire. I was pissed. Something hit the tire hard enough to slice a clean gash in the tire side wall while going over the tracks.
I move onto tryin to change the tire and come across my first problem. Covering the lugnuts up is a nice 6" round cap. The cap is held in place by a phillips head screw. The screw head is completely devoid of its original inset. So I cant get that off to even start on the lug nuts. I call up my Dad and we go home.
We return with tools to get past the problem. And sure enough after rejacking the car back up he pulls out the screw. We take the cap off and use a 4 way torque wrench to work on the lug nuts. We manage to get 2 of them off. The other 3 are on so fucking tight that they had to have been put on with a air wrench of some form. Short of rounding the things off and making it impossible to get them off we could not do anything about it.
So now on top of getting a new tire, custom to the car running me about $95 a piece, I have to pay costs of getting service of an air/power wrench to get those things off.
Oh and the tire may have to be Fed'ex shipped in to the area because after looking online at the tires website it isnt housed locally. At least, not by the tire discount who the tire company goes threw.

Got a call at 1am from a really drunk Mandie...not really sure what she wanted. Oh well.
Went out to the Clarksville area with FAH today. Short afternoon, 13 folks showed. Interesting stuff with that. Thats all I got to say about that.
Loving the multicam though.

Life:OPRT2:FMF
Okay so it is now Tuesday, I feel regular tired instead of the overly tired from such a long weekend.
Today I my lovely womans Birthday! So Hooray for her, unfortunately I dont think she remembered her own bday or has time to enjoy it. Finals work is getting all up in on her back. Im happy for her though, shes going strong with getting a 4.0 for the year. She gets things done right when she puts the time into it. I love that about her.
Work has slowed down some finally. There was a good 2-3weeks where I was just going, going, going. Seemed like everyone had a computer renewal,breakdown, or reorganizing all at the same time. I was glad to be keeping busy but it was annoying. Go to help someone and someone else comes over with there problem they think is way worse. Go to help them instead and then the other person is all in a tiffy about there issue because they dont know $0.02 to save them the time to solve it.
This last weekend was awesome. Took off from work to go to Operation: Rolling Thunder 2
I walk away from the whole thing with a new team, new friends, and plenty of good times ahead to look forward to.
My new team is FMF(Fleet Marine Force) It is a small new team hosted by Op-Doc(aka Delta-38) Who is the owner of MOA(Military Ops Airsoft) who is also one of the leads of the MIA boards which is in charge of all Michigan airsoft event listing/organizing. So basically its a team thats going to be rolling out in the nice gear, with sponsors to back things. Its nice to have that. If you happen to drop by the FMF site its currently under construction due to the fact that team FMF is only 3weeks old now.
I would like to thank PJ and Mandie for the pictures. PJ for use of his camera to get some shots of the early evening pistol games, and Mandie for the awesome pictures from the rest of the days. Ill be adding in links for the other albums a bit later on.

Ok so there I am just kind of reading WoR site during lunch then checking out what silly things are the 5 recent threads.
One of them I notice is about Uwe Boll applied to be director of the upcoming live action (300 styled) WoW movie. Blizzard Laughs away Uwe Boll
So I ask myself,"Who is Uwe Boll? Why is he such a bad choice?" So I head over to IMDb to get teh scoop on this flop of a guy. When I arrive I see his list of movies. Taking careful time to note his recent actions: Far Cry (2008 post production) I return to the article to read it in full and then some of the comments left behind by the community. I was laughing so hard. I made sure to tell everyone else who was remotely familiar with Far Cry the game. They laughed with me and then we all notice something...Petition to stop him

Another double airsoft weekend I think.
Cant decided if I should go to both...
Sigh.
Was a long and busy day yesterday. Hectic work around the office tillabout4pm. Went downstairs to get a key and directions to one of the guys houses so I can go do a house call for him. Issues with his work notebook and not hooking up to his wireless at home. Ended up talking to him and another guy who seem semi interested in coming to play a local game sometime. Showed them a video of Operation Irene and they were just shocked that folks actually are out there doing that sort of thing.
Anyway, got to the guys house around 5:45, he lives in Holland so it was like driving home but in the wrong direction. I worked on that till about 7pm when he showed up with some pizza and his wife at home. Continued to work on that work notebook and his home computer till 10:30.
Couldnt get his home computer working because 1) its a dell that was infected but like 50 different things and 2) once windows was back up after a reformat it had issues using installshield. Some "iKernel.exe was not found" bs that I went and got a utility to fix but it just didnt seem to do the trick.
Been busy this morning again too. Just waiting for the weekend to show up.

Rolling out with Full Auto Heroes
Went out shooting with Team FAH (Full auto Heroes) near Knapp and East Beltline. Was crummy weather but the fun went on anyway. Didnt too many games in but each game was certainly a hour plus in duration. Got home around 9:30 after going back to Middleville and then home again.
I meant to talk to Rach, and Im sorry I wasnt home like I said I would be hun, but that didnt happen. I hope she is feeling better. :( Being sick isnt fun.
Ill be out tomorrow again with team FAH at the same place. The guy whos house it was hosted at was just absolutely shocked that he got 20guys showing up to play. Especially the 10 of us with team FAH rolling up with everything ready to go. He just figured airsoft for more of a small hobby like someone who goes to play paintball once a month. Nope. Team FAH rolls up with everything. Kitchen sink included!*jk* The guys son was back home from Iraq to hang out with his buddies, rather young guy too only 19, team FAH had an event that was going to happen elsewhere and they talked together to get both sides together. Well worth it. The dad brought out hot dogs, drinks, chips, even donuts early in the afternoon. Nice guy.
So ya, back out again with team FAH tomorrow. Weather permitting.

Had some issues pop up with CoD4. Rather annoyed by it.
To make it worse I had issues with wow, totally avoidable, and now Ive spent like 10hrs downloading crap to get it back. Why not just use cd's? Well those never work.
Now Rachel has a doctors appointment. Kind of concerned, but not sure how to be concerned in the right way...Ya long story...

The best family ever!
I'm now entirely convinced, that I have the best family in the entirety of the world. But before telling that little story i gotta tell this one...
I just passed 6 months at MC, which means review and raise time, which is exciting! Thankfully, my busting my ass actually paid off and i got the full 50 cent an hour possible raise that you can get, putting me at only 9 an hour, but 9 an hour with FULL benefits and a 401k. So to celebrate, i went to the airsoft store in grand rapids after work, and bought myself a nice backup weapon for 80ish dollars, exciting shit right? Well someone also told my car that i got a raise, and it decided it wanted it, so it broke down on the way home...less then exciting. So my uncle steve, who most of you know i live with, stops off and gets my uncle george, who is amazing with fixing cars, and we tow the effer home behind my uncle steves van and push it into the garage. Long story short, my cars ignition control module went out, and we changed it, the car works now, starts as soon as the starter is engaged, which is awesomesauce. So anyways, the fact that they were so willing to help out at the drop of a hat really makes you appreciate that sort of thing. Coincidentally, my uncle george has been doing alot of research into our family's genealogy, and i found out, im 50% irish, and 50% polish. that was also exciting, as you could imagine.
Mandie is here too finally, again, very exciting, and i cant wait till we can move out and into the apartment, a bit of freedom will be nice, the bills however will be lacking the nice-ness. thats pretty much all i got i guess, other then mandie is 100% win. haha
