So I know I'm not around much. Here or anywhere for that matter.
It's amazing what getting married, moving to a far off distant place (well Kentwood isn't that far off and distant for some people, but it seems so to me, especially everyday when I drive to work), work 50 hours a week, go to school, and having a dog can do to you (yes, I had to figure out that I actually wanted this paragraph to only be one sentence).
All that might be changing. Well, not all of it. Well, actually, not most of it. I will still be married, working, going to school, and having a dog, but I might not be living so far away. We (Mica and I) have reached a tentative rent-to-own agreement with my parents to live in the house I grew up in. We're both very excited. As much as I resented the town when I was growing up, I really miss it there. Everyone knows I don't like change and leaving there just makes me feel isolated. My job lets me be involved in the community, and I am involved in so many things it will be nice to be back there. So, from now on we will be spending our weekends painting and doing all sorts of things to get the house ready to move into at the end of April. So hopefully I will be seeing you all soon, not jsut through the drive thru ;).

zombies
Zombie Attack Plan
1) At first site or word of an undead threat go to the basement and gather your zombie attack pack.*
2) Lock doors of house and barricade windows if the undead are not within site. If zombies are within site, move to the roof immediately and quietly.
3) Lay flat on the roof covered in a blanket. The zombies can’t distinguish the blanket from the roof, due to their stupidity. If you do not cover yourself, they will mob your house, aware of your location.
4) Once the zombie mob has moved to a new location (confirmed by the absence of moaning and shrieking), quickly and quietly zombie proof the vehicle of choice. If a cargo/ passenger vehicle and a truck are available, choose both. Include a bike rack on top and grids over window. It should have a large, covered cargo space, high clearance and be in good mechanical shape. An automatic is preferable to a stick, as not all members of your party will be able to use a stick. Siphon gas out of all vehicles in a visible range. Store the gas in a sealable container. Load your vehicle with food supplies, weaponry, a CB radio and tools (including your zombie attack pack). Leave pets and large valuables at home, making individual provision for them.
5) Ask other CB operators what routes are clear. After deciding on the most secure root, advance with haste to a country location with a large body of water. City ports will be crawling with undead. Any of the great lakes will do, or a ocean. Mine is Lake Michigan.
6) After arriving at your secure country area, load your supplies directly onto the largest boat available. While part of your party is unloading, other will stand ready for defense. Board the boat and sail away from shore. It is unknown what zombie aptitude is in water.

Love these genes
Gotta love these genes. My mom's over-analyzing powers, and my dad's anger and limited patience. I'm so glad I got these traits, because it makes doing anything thats new next to impossible. I've already tried to play the guitar some more, but I can't because it feels like its out of tune and my fingers won't work right, so I can't do a damn thing about it. I'll have to go spend an awkward day with my uncle to even get chords, which makes me feel pretty damn stupid.
I went to Physics for the first time today, setting a new record for missing the first day up to a certain point. The first two times weren't my fault, but the others have been, so its just a meh situation for me. Professor Bacon was cool about it, showed me what I needed to do, and set me on the right path, which is more than I can say for the guys back at central. Though walking in today not touching physics since high school where I got one of my lowest grades ever was a bad idea. I don't think "88 mph" was how fast that ball was falling in the problem, but I saw it in back to the future, so who knows.
Another fun thing I did while cleaning up my room was I found an old John Meyer disc and got really pissed, and destroyed it. Bonus points if you know why! Also, I'm beginning to think that I am really messed up in the head, and could use some therapy or something.
I'm off to go make or buy dinner, I haven't decided, so later kids.

I find that I have become accustomed lately to long games of "Being Paul Banks" in front of the mirror.
Since AUD does not in fact accept AUK credits, I'm going to be spending a lot of time at home by myself, especially since the mornings leave me home alone. These mornings are dedicated to reading, writing and listening to the few CDs in my posession. After I shower, do my hair and spen agonizing ages in front of the mirror wondering if those really ARE wrinkles, I play Interpol and sing and dance in what I feel is a rather impressive imitation of Monsieur Banks.
All in all, I suppose there are worse ways to spend one's mornings.

so i actually feel like i can be a nurse. i'm liking my classes better and understanding stuff. because the program is so new and my school is so small, i have my classes with basically all the same 30 people because that is how many people got accepted into the program. i'm realkzing that i am just as smart as these people and they are struggling in areas just like i was/am. so yay.
we dont get to disect cadavers. we only get to disect cats but oh well. i guess we can learn more because we can disect them more where as with cadavers-because so many people have to use them and they have to last a whole year, you can only do a little.
i can't type well beause i have fake nails on. i haven't got my naisl done in like 2 years but i really wanted to last week so i got acrylilics on. just a frech manicure. not like i sued to get.
roman and i are doing so well. when we first moved in together we had this period of like 2 months where we fought really bad like we'd be fine and then fight fine and then fight but we have really gotten over that ---well i mean, obviously since that was a long time ago but my point is ...we hve just grown from it all and i'm really happy.
we are probably going to florida to visit his gramma and have soem fun for our spring breaks. the bad part is that are spring breaks aren't at the same time and so i might not be able to ugugghghgh but that would really suck because my birthday is during his spring breeak so if he went and i didn't i'd be all alone on my bday.
i can't believe i'm gonna be 20 ..that seems so old! weird.
roman and i were talking about the wedding which was supposed to be in may 2009 but the more we talked about it. the more we thought it would be a smart idea to just wait until we were done with college completely.

life at the moment is ok....
wedding planning is in full effect, i just cant wait until it all just comes together. i have had dreams of it for the last week, all cause i have so much going through my head and i am so happy...
i dont think my life has been so good in a long time. im the happiest i have ever been, it makes me look back on high school and see how stupid i was, how dumb some of the decisions were. but now i just see my future being bright, and my life being just ok, and that is fine with me.

Bleh
So my last entry was apparently two hundred, and I felt the desire to cut it off for awhile. Or something. I'm finally back at ferris for another 15 weeks of furious plastics action, meaning explosive car chases, loose women, gun fights, and the occasional sex scene.
I'll settle for that last one, karma god, pretty please.
So far its been the same ol' same ol' for classes this semester, and I'm beginning to see how I can suck at the second semester of college. My attention span is gone and I constantly lose faith in my own abilities and give up to sit around and do nothing. Nobody can match my skill in that. Though I am determined to try and make it through this semester of school with at least A's or B's. Last semester I got hosed, so I should be giving it my all, but meh. I've never done that for anything, far as I can remember. Well, a few things, but I can't mention them without sounding like an emo twat.
I'm also determined to get this guitar thing working. Though chords and simple hand movements are preventing me from even playing a scale yet. The book I'm using isn't doing me any favors, by having half a page dedicated to chord fingerings then mentioning, "It might take a few tries to get the fingerings down, but don't give up!" I hope you mean a few hundred dozen tries good sir, or I'm going nowhere.
I'm also trying to work out a bit more AND restart my comic. I'll have time to in my math class til about the 9th week or so. Stupid having a math class thats too hard yet the next lowest too easy, grumble. For the comic though, if I get it rolling and actually going to what I view as well, I might need some help actually drawing it *COUGH EDDY COUGH* but I don't know who would help me with that.
Other than that, not much going on right now. I'll be at the shindig on friday if you are gonna be there, so if there is anyone out there whom I haven't talked to in forever, come bump into me before I'm a wheezing pile in a corner.

Morning classes suck. But Its not so hard anymore, which is good. At least I dont have any 8am classes.
My roomies and I are signing a lease today/tomorrow for our apartment next year. They are really nice, brand new in fact. Three floors, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, diningroom, kitchen, and livingroom. Its kind of like the apartment I have right now, only better. The best thing about it is they are leasing it for $290 a month, which is amazing because it's basicly on campus. The year after is going to be $360 a month. Woo for me.
