All the things you swear you saw yourself.
First of all, I love the song "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional. Completely in love with it. I will post the lyrics after I am writing.
Well springbreak is officially over. I am sad to know that, but I will get over it. I didn't go to school today [some of you may have noticed] because I just got back from Orlando about an hour ago.
On Sunday morning my mother and I left for Orlando to meet up with my aunt, my grandmother, and my brothers. We got there and went out to breakfast and everything was ok. Then we went to this park thing called Old Town. They had these two rides and I wanted to go on them really bad but my mother didn't want me to go because of my heart condition, but I convinced her to let me go. The first was this thing called the slingshot where you are buckled up with another person [I was with Stephanie, my cousin who is 14] and they compress these springs and then release them.We went about 200 feet in the air and you do flips and its pretty cool. We got a video of it and my mom screamed, "Oh my GOD, Bridget you let go!". lol. Yhe second was this thing called the Superman. You're buckled in this vest thing and you're lying on your stomach, held up by these chords like when you go Bungie jumping. You get pulled 300 feet in the air so that you are facing down to the ground, head first, and you have to pull this chord to release you and you just go over this lake. Well I just HAD to go. My mom was freaking out because nobody else would go that was around us [we are talking adults here]. She was thought it was crazy and since everyone agreed with her she didn't want me to go. You can have up to three people go with you and you're connected to them so I got Jessica [UGH, I HATE HER AND YOU WILL SEE WHY!] and Corey [LOVE HIM!] to go with me. So I am completely psyched and pumped up and they get our vests on and everything and Corey is still calm but Jessica is starting to get scared. So they start pulling us up and you just feel yourself being pulled up by just ONE piece of chord 300 ft in the air. Jessica starts to cry after about the first 15 feet but Corey was still going strong. After about 100 feet Corey started to squeeze my hand and started to get scared. After about 200 feet Corey was about to lose it. So during this whole process I am looking around having the time of my life and they both think I am completely crazy. When we get to the 300 ft mark the guy at the bottom tells us that we can pull the chord when we are ready. They chose me to pull the chord because they didn't have the balls to do it, so I paused up there and looked around and Jessica started to scream and Corey screamed," Bridget just do it PLEASE!". So I looked at him all calmy and said "We are about to fly, you know that, we might never ever fly again so open your eyes". He opened his eyes and calmed down and Jessica was still crying and screaming with her eyes closed. So I smiled and I pulled the chord and we just dropped and it was the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life. I let go of Corey and the harness and just held out my arms and Corey screamed and Jessica left her eyes closed. It was wonderful, I mean I was flying. So we get down safely and my mom is about to cry and my aunt told me she couldn't watch. So we watch the video of it and my family can't believe how I let go and how happy I am.
So we go back to the hotel and everything and my family is like "Bridget is nuts". lol. Yeah. So we go to this Dolly Parton dinner show thingy which was pretty cool. When we come back at like 8:00 at night we were coming to get the boys' sweaters and then we were going to go back so I could do the Superman thing again at night. Well there were security guards waiting at our rooms when Stephanie ran to go get them and they said, "Have you seen a stroller?" and Stephanie was like "Noo...." so she goes back to the car. And she tells us what happens. It turns out that Jessica stole some person's fucking stroller to play with [SHE IS 17!] and the security found out. So yeah. They locked us out of our room! So the hotel wanted to kick us out and Jessica wouldn't confess to taking it so my ass had to go in there and say I did it so we could stay. Then a security gaurd searched our room when we were gone and fucked with all of our stuff and my mom and aunt raised hell. Then we found out that the security had no right to search our room without our permission and we called the cops. So its like midnight and we still can't get in our rooms and I am yelling at Jessica because she fucked up our night in Orlando and she is so fucking stupid. So the security gaurd said he never searched our room [BUT THE LIGHTS WERE OFF WHEN WE LEFT AND THEY WERE ON WHEN WE GOT BACK AND THERE WAS A NEW KEY IN THERE AND OUR STUFF WAS FUCKED UP!]. So they got this computer thing and checked to see what cards went in and out of the room and his ass got busted. So we stayed the night and Jessica is the dirtiest fucking retard ever! So I was pissed. Than my sketch book was in the room the security fucked with and my cousins went through it and made a big deal out of my art and I am VERY private about that so I got pissed off once again.
Yeah it was an interesting day.
My mom is fighting with Richard which it the MOST annoying thing to listen to. I hate him. Its so annoying.
Anyways I was thinking about a lot of stuff right before I pulled the chord on that one ride. Deep stuff. I don't know. Break away.
