As for work, work is GREAT. I missed it so much. I think that was part of my mooood.
It feels good to be back.
We did a party tonight, in-house, for 120 and i now have delicious chocolate cake in hand...haha. Maybe it'll help cure the saddies. :-P
Nah.
I got to drive the Trailblazer to work and it was soooo relaxing and nice.
Work/School are actually going somewhere and I feel good about it. I feel GREAT about it.
I'm going to a special dinner at CC for our ACF members. My boss is getting voted Chef of the Year and I am taking my aunt. Tickets are $65 though. Ehhh... It'll be fun and it's something I feel I need to do.
I'm going to probably go to bed soon. The earliest I've gone to bed in probably 2 1/2 weeks.

I had a bad feeling at first, but we talked and hugged and kissed and everything was always fine.
Char and I went skateboarding at the park today. It was SUPER fun. I fell a couple times. hahaha. I landed on my whole left side. lol.
Then we just had a lot of fun today. I love him.
So much.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to go to Seoul Garden w/my Aunt Linda then pick up my check at work then Charlie's. But the weather...ugh.

We were talking wedding ideas. YAY. It's just a grand feeling. My mom is excited. We were talking about her wedding and stuff and what we're going to do in Char's and mine. We have to reserve the place of the reception in a few months, and we don't even know where it's going to be! haha.
In other news, dad and mum went to look at the new corvette z-06 today! Ours is coming in a couple months. Canary yellow! Woohhhh!
It's got a display that shows up on the windshield that shows your speed and how many g's you pulled. And a navigation screen, bose system, and dvd player. We don't need a dvd player though...that's stupid. I'm excited!

Oh man I love my job.
I absolutely love where I work! It's so exciting and awesome. I never thought I'd find a job I'd love so much. I'm always learning something new. And I'm usually always traveling. I feel like I'm going somewhere. I probably sound dumb but I don't care. This is what happened today:
I was sent on a party for 14 w/Jackie and Wendy. We went to Alticor in GR. (They are the world headquarters for Amway and Quixstar). We thought it was only a board meeting but it was a Christmas party. When we got there we were sent to the Main office. It said "World Headquarters" on the door. And everything inside was SOOOOO nice. Holy crap. So we got all our stuff and went into the elevator. Inside there were buttons for the 1st and 2nd floor, and we need a special code for the 3rd floor. It was the executive board room. We got to work in a little kitchen and the whole floor was extravagant. Everything was nice. The board room looked really cool. And guess who showed up!? Mr. DeVos and Mr. VanAndel!!! They told us "Wonderful job on the luncheon!" and they said thank you a lot. They were pleased. It was really cool.
Applause caters to their houses too. And oh man, is it awesome. I guess they've done a party there before w/9 staff and everyone got $100 tips. Another guy I work with did a party last week and left w/ a $200 tip.
I probably sound like a dork but it's okay. I just am really excited to be where I am right now.
Anyway, not a whole lot happening besides doin' parties at work and hangin' out with Char. I still need to wrap all the Christmas presents! It came so fast this year.

It's been a really crazy week. I got in an accident on Wednesday night, that was scary. I had to sit in the back of a state's car. We're replacing our carpet right now. It's a major hassle. hahaha. I worked on Thursday. A party at Fredrick Meijer for 300. Plated salads and desserts. It was fun. Except I had to drive back to Applause to grab something and the weather was bad, and it was the night after the accident so I was scared. Friday I went to Char's work's Christmas party. It was fun! We ate then went bowling. Last night Char and I made cookies and watched March of the Penguins and stuff. We're getting closer to being finished decorating our tree. Eh I better go help.

Oh my! I am so excited. I just had a really good idea. I'm hanging out w/Becca after class tonight. I am going to get something stupendous. I just finished my menu project and it was kind of nerve-racking. I really am excited about getting a new phone. Even though I don't need one. And I just got one a little while ago... Maybe I won't get a new phone. I'll have to look at Randi's a little more. I'm gonna see my boy tomorrow! YAY!

I got out of work at midnight last night. So tired. After class I drove to Bethany Christian Center's National Office and waited for everyone to show up w/the truck and van. Then we unloaded and got plating on the salads and desserts and entrees. There were 100 people there. We had to wait for their presentation to be done til we could clean up and leave. So we got out of there around 9:30. Then we went back to Applause and unloaded 5 trucks and cleaned cambros and all that other stuff. I fell outside on the ice. I was just too pissed off to care. There were 12 parties yesterday. That's insane! My friends went to Fredrick Meijer Gardens for a St. Mary's party where they had 7 chef attended stations! Holy crap.
I signed up for more classes. Here's what I'm taking so far:
-Table Service
-Ice Carving
-Survey of American Government
Who knows if they'll stay. I'm keeping Ice Carving though!!! YEAH! Chainsaw! hahaha.
I go to the doctor next week. whoop whoop. not.
I have to work today at 2.

I have no idea how to get there...we'll see how that goes. It's fun though. Very hard work but rewarding. :-) Crazy. This is the first job that I actually enjoy. YAAY! I go to the doctor next week. hmmmmmmmmmmm hehehe.

Oh yeah. I forgot. My job is pretty awesome. I found out some stuff tonight. I don't watch harry potter but I guess we did a huge banquet for some people involved w/it and for all of you who do watch it, harry potter 5 comes out in june 2007 i think. you may have already known that. whatever. And, this girl i work w/went to the bishop of GR's house tonight. She goes there every week because we do a party for him every week. Theres some interesting stuff about that. I think it's cool.

Hmm...Let's see...
Not going to class tomorrow. Weekend has been going crazy fast.
Friday after class I worked all night. Spent the night at Char's.
Saturday I worked from 2-midnight. Went to Fredrick Meijer Gardens and did a banquet for 180 there. Went back to Applause to unload trucks and such. After work I went to Char's and we ate a little food and I got home around 1:30. Then I went to bed around 2. Got up for work this morning around 6:30am. Worked all day till 3. Went to Charlie's and hung out. And now I'm back home. I am not going to class tomorrow because I need to try to do stuff for finals. I have to work tomorrow and I probably won't be getting out until late, there are at least 7 parties going on. Ugh. It's okay though. Not getting enough sleep is not okay though. Hmmm.
Well Charlie and I have some news but I'm not supposed to say anything yet. Until . .. Nevermind I said too much! Oh well.

Oh my gosh. Today was so crappy! I was freaking out about getting our project done. We finally finished it but were late for class. OH WELL. I was goin' crazy. Just a crappy crappy day.

I hung out with the girls last night after work. So tired but we talked a lot and it was nice. I hung out w/Charlie today and that was really nice too. We went to Panera and stuff.

Work was interesting today. After class I went to Applause and we had a huge party for like 390 or something. Fun fun. I made 900 bread-rounds and some bruscetta. I'm so good. Haha. I was just really enjoying how awesome it feels to work hard. Sometimes. haha. But I mean, first semester is almost done, and I love my class. The difference between other classes and culinary classes is you form a family. We're so close. And it's almost done. We've always got each other's backs. It's cool. I sound like a dork though I'm sure. But I love it. And today, it was nice getting all that food out and getting complements and knowing you did well. Even though I burned the fuck out of my arm. It hurts. Bad. It's not a huge burn though. But anyway, works going to be super busy the next few weeks.
As for other things, still have no clue. Wish I knew. I don't want to just assume it's not happenin'... But I've been havin' addictions to cola. Which is strange, I haven't drank pop in a while, and now all I want is diet pepsi.
