Hmmmm....
I'm trying to decide whether or not to by the Lust Control album... maybe you guys could check it out and tell me what you think? Then again, no one I know completely shares my taste in music.
The thing is that they sound awful, but their lyrics are great and they deal with crucial issues that most people ignore. They're really cool.
I can't decide.

Road trip!!!!
For those of you who don't know, Conerstone Festival is the Woodstock of Christian bands. They've got (or had there before) The Blamed, Lust Control, Zao, Sixpence, Ballydowse, Joy Electric, P.O.D., CRASHdog, and just about every band worth listening to. It's in Illionios, south of Chicago, and you go there and can camp for a few days or stay ina motel while going to the concerts and everything.
That's my ultimate roadtrip. Who wants to go?

I had a party.
Ten people came, which was good, although I wish certain people *cough Kristy cough Jesse cough Tom cough KT cough* would have told me that they weren't coming so I wasn't expecting them. but oh well its alright.
I'm going to have Fatal Frame nightmares. Thanks KT for the cord, I'll drop it off tomorrow. And Andy came, it was cool to finally meet him in person.
Yay I'm tired I think I'll go watch Matrix Reloaded or something.. G'night. God bless you.

It's weird.
I got a gum infection. I wondered why I had one because I brush and floss everyday, and then I realised its because I don't clean my retainer good enough. Oh well.

I've been ffeling wierd lately- its like when you've been swimming with a life jacket on for a while, and then all of the sudden someone takes it from you and you have to swim on your own...
I remember what CS Lewis wrote, that sometimes God 'lets go of you hand for a while'. And during that time its kindof a test to see what you will do when He does that- will you stay loyal to Him, or will you reject Him? Or maybe I'm just being wierd...
It's not coming out... goodnight. God bless you.
Oh ps if you guys could pray for two things... there's a family from my church who had an accident in Colorado, and the dad and two kids are in the hospital- they're improving, praise God. The other is a friend of mine, that her parents will let her go to church.

A Website for Kelly and Anyone Else Who Cares
http://www.3wk.com/ Its a cool station- they call themselves the internet underground radio station. They play mostly indie music (folk rock) and its pretty cool.
I just wrote a story about a turnip vine. It's really good, if I do say so myself. I was proud of it, until...
I got to thinking- what am I trying to do? My writings may be all good right now, and I may get a good grade, and Mr. G might really like it, and the class might be stunned at my intulectualism, but then in the end, its just a bunch of ink on paper... and once I present, even if Mr. G thinks I'm cool afterward, and everyone else does, someday they'll die, and I'll die, and the paper will decompose, and then what becomes of everything I've been working for?
Basically, God's giving me a wake-up call, I guess. I was so proud of myself and what I did but when I look at it, its nothing. Like in that Ballydowse song- "only what's eternal will pass through the flames." (I wish I could remember a Bible verse, but I'm sure there's one like that.) And what about all this music I've been obssessed with lately? And how I write all these poems? What am I aming for?
Basically, I need your guy's help... how do you make somthing last eternally? I've heard people all the time say, "do it for God", but what does that mean? I know God's the focus of the equation...

I signed his AIM up for a thing called Smarterchild. Its free for a month, and then it expires. Basically its an online virtual IM machine. Have some fun with it.
