yay, yesterday was thanksgiving! i love turkey, and the rest of the good stuff too. we're up at my uncle and aunts and its a good time, we went to their friends house, and there was about 15-20 people there. it was a good time. played some uno attack and euchre....i won uno attack (because im the uno champ) and lost the 3rd game of euchre in the last trick of hte last hand :-( they have this little kitten, and its name is rascal....very fitting for him too. his name should be satan. i feel so bad for it though, this little kid kept like beating the poor guy, and i even told her to stop, and she just kept going. :'( i guess thats it

could i have been anyone other than me?
whenever i walk past someone on the street, i always wonder what it's like to be them. who are their parents? do they even have parents? who are their friends? what are their interests? who do they find attractive? what's their favorite food? what's their favorite color? can they dance? can they sing? do they have any medical problems? are they happy? are they thinking of suicide? where are they going? what do they believe in? are they lonely? what are they thinking about?

the amount of people alive boggles my mind. billions of people whom i will never even walk next to, let alone meet. why is it that you meet one person over another? i could've lived somewhere else and still had friends. think of all the people who could potentially mean something to me, but i'll never even know them. why? people love the idea that they have a free will and they have control over everything that happens in their lives, that their choices override any outside force on the consequences that ensue. but what about someone who does everything right, who follows society's structure of "life": goes to college, gets a well-paying job, gets married, has kids, and then one day, gets shot in a gas station shoot-out? they were innocent, just trying to fill up the family escalade. they didn't make the choice to be involved in a shoot-out, and yet they still had to deal with the consequences of something they had no control over. i believe you have a free will, i believe the choices you make now will affect you later on, but i also believe that there are a lot of things that are completely out of your control. there's something phenomenal about life and the world and how everything is inter-connected beyond our ability to comprehend. some things are so weird and coincidental or so totally random that the idea of fate grabs me and thrashes me around and says, "i'm here!" why does anything happen? perhaps if you lived completely alone, you could get by with the "i am in control of my life" theory... but there's way too much going on. chaos is right in the midst of our routine existence. the world is HUGE. and yet, everything is related. everything. it's fucking amazing.

What does "quixotic" mean?
Dear Diary....
Today, Kyle, Kris and I went to San Jose. It was a spur of the moment type thing. Kyle messaged me at about 1 and asked if I wanted to go buy me some bass equipment, so we left about an hour later. I wasn't looking forward to driving all day, but it was fun times. Good tunes there and back, jokes about turds and farting and penis sizes and how the whole crew of cheerleaders came and sat near us at In-n-Out because we're in a band, thus we're sexy. But anyways, I bought:
1 Ampeg SVT4pro 1200w/1600w Bass Head
1 Ampeg SVT810E 1600w Bass Cabinet
1 Road Ready RRGUED GSP Rack
2 Koag DIGI Tuners
1 10ft Premium Inst Cable
1 Bob Bryan Poly Grip Strap (pretty blue strap)
1 Zildjian 19in CST Projection Crash

The second tuner I bought for Kyle and the Cymbal I bought for Kris... aren't I a sweetheart?

I know most of that stuff means nothing to my audience... hell most of it means nothing to me, but what I do know is that all of that was $4200 and what did I end up paying?? $2600. Thats a discount of $1600. Pretty damn good. It's because I'm a slut and I did sexual favors for it. For those of you who don't know me, I'm joking. You just gotta work the sales people like its a car dealership, barter with them... "How bout you throw those cables in for free?" The digital tuners cost about $180 a piece... well Kyle got the guy to give us two of them for $150. Over half the price. Man, we're awesome and now with my HUGE cabinet I'm gonna rumble the place. I mean, its just short of reaching my shoulders, this suckas big.

- Love Joe

Speaker: "And then and then and then and then and then and then..."
Speaker: "And then?"

i never write in here. i just make comments on my friends stuff. at least they have something to say.
i feel sooo icky right now. maybe i'm dying.
i turned in my id22 project today. it always feels great to turn stuff in. i hope i did okay though :-\ it was fun doing it though! cause it's a materials class, so that's what she wanted us to focus on. where like in space planning you have to perfect measurements and if that size sofa fits perfectly.
it's gonna be weird next semester though. i'm not taking any i.d. classes. but i realized when i typed em out to tell joey, that 3 of the 4 i'm taking are history classes. shows what i dig eh.
i have this one short section of hair that always falls out of my ponytail :oP
but anyways, i'm going to go do h/w now. oh joy. ta!
