Rush Concert
The concert tonight was really great, about as good as last time. They got rid of a few of their more notable songs to make room for some new songs but it was worth it. I wasnt really a fan of their new cd but when they played the songs live it made me happy. They did not play New World Man, Freewill, or Distant Early Warning...and of course they never play Closer to the Heart. They did play Xanadu (perhaps my personal highlight of the night) and Between the Wheels. Opened with a medley of songs from their debut album but the first song was Spirit of Radio. They closed with Limelight.
The drum solo wasn't as good as from the last tour. That drum solo seemed to have a 'story' to it, like it progressed throughout. This one was kinda normal, nothing incredibly spectacular, kinda the same 'base' as the old solo but missing the parts that made it great.
I had alot of fun, and the seats were amazing, i was about 25 feet from the stage on the right, the side where geddy always was on.

RUSH Concert Tonight!
Concert starts at 7:30 at Coral Sky (I don't know what it's called now, I still call it Coral Sky). Going to dinner beforehand. Hopefully it will be as great as the 2001 concert, I'm sure it will be.

sometimes some things make you unsure about whether the little things tell everything or don't really tell anything at all ... and sometimes you just don't know which way you'd prefer it to be . lo mas dificil es estar peleando para quedarte donde estas y estar feliz con lo que ya tienes pero la gente que tienes te manda mas y mas lejos con cada dia y al mismo tiempo tienes el otro lado jalandote con toda fuerzo y mil llamadas pa' ya. y para que pelear si aya es mejor en todos los sentidos ? cuando estoy aqui me quiero irme y cuando estoy aya no quiero ni pensar en lo que me esta esperando aqui . las razones se quitan una por una y todas las aciones de ellos despruevan todo lo que estoy usando para convencerme que aqui hay algo con que quedarme ... por mi , lo tengo todo decidido , pero por ellos no ... pero al fin , por quien es que voy a vivir mi vida ?

Today I rode my bike for about 2 hours today which was interesting, my legs needed it. Then I went with a friend down to Pompano Beach to test drive a 1988 Porsche 924 S for her, it was manual of course. then i got a call to go play hockey at around 5 and got picked up at about 9 played til 11:30 and now im home. I think I did pretty well and aside from a few weird deflections none of the goals really angered me. good night!

well after the best trip of my life, it was amazingly hard to leave that place for this one. did lots of reflecting up in the mountains. godbless the land of weiners and schnitzels'. hope i can make it here until my return trip next summer.
ashley suprised me at the airport. crazy girl taha. twas a beautiful sight to see her. she was the only thing i looked foward to in coming home. so then i got home and was here for only 6 hours until the guy across the street backed into my car. damn things.
and now i have my dorm assignment. i got the one i wanted. and i guess i move in there august 18th. not too much time left. especially with all this school bullshit to get taken care of.

When heaven looks my way.
Im back.
Aruba was something else.
Something other than amazing.
Here the word amazing cease to exist.
Its more like phenomenal.
It was in the water and in the sky.
It was is the land and in the animals.
It WAS phenomenal.
We went in this cave. Deep into the ground. Called the "tunnel of love", because the opening from above is shaped like a heart. There were mucha cucarachas. And it was dark and sweaty. I got such a rush.
We also went horseback riding for over two hours. My horses name was Churro. We rode across the desert then along the east coast. It was like I was in a cowboys and indians movie. As if we were chasing something. We flew and I loved it.
My favorite place there was the southern point. We walked out as far as we could. And there we were standing on a cliff looking down and the most beautiful ocean breaking on the rocks. Ive never seen anything like it. I wanted to dive off and be one with such an incredible site.
And in everything that took my breath away. There you were. <3
Just you wait ;-)

New journal layout which seems to me at least alot less childish, and alot more pleasing to read.
Got the new Aquateen Hunger Force DVD today and it's really neat of course. I'll be watching that today while I try not to get any more sick, I'm fighting it because I want to do more stuff today. I've been up since 8:30 and have already made some progress.

Grrr...I am so freaking pissed off right now. My parents are going on a cruise today, and I had plans to go to the mall with Maura. So my dad told me last night they'd be leaving between 10:30 and 11, so when Maura called at 10:30 and said a half hour to 45 minutes, I was like yeah, sure, no problem, but then my dad freaked out and was like you can't go then. And I told him he said he'd be out by 11, so it shouldnt be a problem to leave at 11:15. But no, he's running late (not his fault, of course), so I asked Maura and asked if she could push it back to like 11:30, which was when my dad said they would be leaving. So she said yeah, no problem. So I was doing something for my dad and I missed the call on my cell at like 11:10 from maura, so I called her back like 10 minutes later. She said she was on her way over and she'd be there soon. So I said alright, and my mom was like there's no way you can go now. My dad at that point had not even gotten a shower. So Maura came and my mom told her that it would be atleast an hour before I could go anywhere, since I'm the only one who can load the luggage, and I can't load the luggage in the van until after my dad is in. So now all my plans for the day have gone to shit, and I'm really pissed about it. And as soon as anyone says anything to my dad about it, he finds some lame ass excuse for why it's not his fault that he's running late. Ugh, sometimes I just get so sick of it.

Vie geitz auf germany! taha. I'm starting to get the hang of this language. Anyways hi ashley francis. I came to the internet cafe just for you. Yesterday and today we did some good hiking up in the alps in Austria, especially today. When i first came here I thought we were going to be drunk all the time and party and travel around, but the sediments have changed. We are probably just going to stay around this area and explore the nature; no venice, no berlin, no amsterdam. I dont even give a damn that i can drink; i've got mad blisters on my feet from hiking and still crave more. I want to take you here someday, hopefully sooner than later. Last night after hiking mike and I went to a bar and had some drinks; i had one called a vülkano and they lit it on fire. after that we went and bought some german porn mags and beers and walked backed to the apartment. we drank the beers on the way just cause we could; there's no dumb ass laws like the ones in america. The beer here owns american beer, as does most other things. well im about to be kicked off; i love you ashley and hope you have a good time in aruba. peace
