My new journal
I thought I already posted this, but I guess not... I've moved my journalness to Xanga. url is http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=DeathMessanger so have fun. I think it's cute and the backround music is the piano version of "1000 words" from FFX-2. Thanks Mel ,you've been great to me. Thanks for saving my journal, I just wish I hadn't fixed up my xanga. Much love

sooo annoying...
So my mom somehow finds out that I've written all this crap about a certain incident that happened recently involving one of my teachers at school and tells me, at like 10:15 as i'm getting ready for bed, that I'd better delete it all because if the administration found out and it got back to that teacher, I could be kicked out of Ambassadors. (Essentially...so I basically thought the admissions process was unfair and I was being given an unfair chance at being admitted to the organization.)
So ANYWAY, a few entires have been made private (friend's only, so sign in guys on my friend's list) and I've deleted bits and pieces.
I STILL have those raidical ideas about how this is FREEDOM OF THE 'PRESS' and if not that, FREEDOM OF SPEECH, GODDAMNIT!! This is MY JOURNAL, and I think I can write what I damn well want to! And besides, I'll tell that teacher to her face if she asks that I was incredibly angry with her for her shortness towards me as I tried to apply for Ambassadors. I felt like I was being given less of a chance!! She DIDN'T really give me a chance, either!
So whatever. Just a heads up that some stuff is now gone. God, this is annoying. I shouldn't have to censor my stuff in order to feel safe from the school admin. That's definitely not cool.

23rd entry, 5th line
So everyone's doing this thing on LJ where they post the 5th line of their 23rd entry. Well, my 23rd entry was a conversation between me and Nicole, so the 5th line was:
Horseeyoregal: it really is hella freaky that i wud think of that window thing
haha. funnylicious. creepy times...:-p
MAIN STREET GETS BACK TONIGHT!!! WHOOOO!
Oh, and the church musical is STILL incredibly crappy and cheesy. YOU SHOULD ALL COME, THOUGH!! Details later. 7 hours of rehersals per weekend now. crapola. And extra rehersals for leads. That'd be me. UGH.
Jazz is fun to play. Singing jazz with all of that weird crap is not. Clarinet is cool, but my teacher is not. And that is all I have to say.
Oh, one more thing. Andrew makes me :0D.

I'm finally updating! *Pats self on the back*
Yay for updating! Mexico was amazing. I took a tour through Mexico's Copper Canyon with my parents, sister, and grandmother. The canyon is around five times longer than the Grand Canyon and really beautiful. The people on the tour were mainly over... 50! Needless to say my sister and I were the only children. It was actually OK though. I honestly (as weird as this sounds) think some old people are really cool. I enjoy old people, you can learn so much from them. So that part was not that bad. I actually even had good conversations with some people. And my sister and I got all these compliments. Anyway, about the actual trip. We started out in El Paso, Texas and traveled through the Copper Canyon ending in Chihuahua, Mexico. Our tour guide, Antonio, was the coolest, smartest guy ever! I really miss him :( Anyway, you all have to see my beautiful pictures!
But back to real life! Star testing was OK... I actually kind of wish there was more of it because it was such an easy week... oh well.
Ugh, I don’t want to do the balcony scene with Scott. OK, sorry that was random...
So anyway, yesterday I went to go see Nicole be beautiful in Alice. But before that, I went to dinner at Chilies and you will never guess who I saw! DANIELLE SPENCE! It was so weird she was really civil to me. She actually came up to my family and me (she was there with her friends so her parents couldn’t have made her do that) and said hello! She even made conversation with me. I was actually impressed! Weird, huh?
So then Louise and I saw Alice! It was so great and Nicole was FABULOUS! Lol. You should all go see it. Super hug for my friend Leslie too because I love her!
Anyway, then today I auditioned for SETT, which went well. Then I worked on our Spanish soap opera with Louise, Danny K., Matt S., and Keish. Very fun. Danny is a very pretty girl! LOL!
So now, I am thoroughly enjoying sitting here on my butt and watching Finding Nemo. Life is good.

DUCKS!
So, I'm being bored and obsessive, and I stumble apon Jeff's (the freshman in college, not the junior at lahs) journal. It gets boring reading one drunken/stoned entry to the next, so I decide to raid his friends' list. YAY! Who do I find, but Greg! (The freshman in college again, not the junior at lahs.) This would be the Greg whose ass was accidentally grabbed by Nicole backstage during an LAYT production. Anyway, he's smart. So I'm reading, and I come across this:
"Something about those ducks. People talk about how stupid ducks are, but when you watch them for a few minutes, you begin to see how absolutely brilliantly they're engineered. I mean, yes, they walk funny, but watch them swim, look at them fly, then look at them rotate through all three effortlessly. It's almost as if making them walk was an afterthought.
So it comes down to a matter of function. Ducks swim well and fly well because that's what they're designed to do. But what are we desgined to do? Yeah, we eat, sleep, move around, but every animal does that and, relative to other animals, we don't do any of it that great. "
He's a genious. Actually, I just liked that it was about ducks. (Can't imagine why...)
STAR testing is a joke, and I like it! Adv. Jazz auditions went okay, would have been better if I had practiced more. Oh well. I did okay.
*this part of the entry deleted 5/3 because my mom thought it might be potentially bad for me if the school found out what i was typing...God...*
I've got to study Bio, but I won't. Just to spite her. (My mom, that is.) She threw a fit becuase I've been HAVING FUN with friends and spending NOT THAT MUCH of her money. I swear, it's been 2 weeks and I've borrowed $10. Yes, ten. I got a $20 so I could see Ali in Sleeping Beauty. I consequently spent it all when Sarah forgot to put extra money in her wallet. Did I care? NO! I'm a good friend! But then, when I ask for lunch money, I CAN'T HAVE ANY!! THAT $20 WAS APPARENTLY MY LUNCH MONEY AS WELL!! grrr...
Well, at least there's ONE MAN in my life who's good at comforting me!! The other's just a depressed old man who SEES LIFE THROUGH DARKENED EYES. Damn this depression of so many of our world's teens! BE HAPPY, DAMNIT!!! *snarl*

it's kinda late...
i'm turning into much of a nocternal creature once again...it's the curse of break, along with people online who'll talk to me at like 1 in the morning. haha. i'm sitting here eating cheescake, which i should really save for breakfast, seeing as i'm not hungry AT ALL right now.
gotta love sarah's family. my mom just goes crazy when i'm like 'i love their family. i love her mom. she's so cool.' she like flips out. she was like 'well maybe you should get BECKY a mother's day present.' ha. maybe i will. i'll write her a cute card that's like 'you're the coolest mom i know!! (aside from my own...but i can't tell her that. teenage mom's aren't supposed to know that they're loved. but you are! yay! way to be a super cool mom and hostess!'
now THAT would be nice. right well.
ate at the cheescake factory with the daddy-o and the rents. you'd think these mom, dad, mom's bf, me interactions would be awkward, but they're not really. maybe i'm just an extremely adjusted teenager. i love maggie. she's my pastor. she's always going on about how wonderful i am. ANYWAYS.
some people are just dipshits. i think they're cool anyway, but ya know. i love that word. DIPSHIT! YAY!
should be a sad, sad choir rehearsal tomorrow. 4 hours of HELL. yeah, the dance connection people think that THEIR rehearsals are bad, try singing with a lady who can neither conduct nor play piano. she's always going 'oh, and to think i was a piano performance major...' MY GOD. and our leading man, who i'm sort of crushing on (it's the annual spring melissa thinks andrew is hot thing that never amounts to anything but a lot of drama during church) won't even BE there because he's got a gig in soCal. HA! (band trip. he plays trumpet. YUMMM. he's good, too.) i mean wahhhh! haha. but yeah. operation: mel is going to get a date to the gunn jr./sr. prom begins next week. HELLZ TO THE YES! haha. dontcha just love how i go for the guys who totally aren't ready/into girls yet? it's wonderful! at least i'm being safe...
and i digress. anyway, went to sarah's house for dinner tonight. i love her family! nice conversation in a nice outdoor setting and yummy pasta. mmmm... sarah's room is AWESOME. full of ribbons and horse stuff. i felt right at home. :0D she has a rat!! it's awesome!
oh, and now i'm skipping around again. ANYWAY. we went shopping after eating and ran into becky and jeanette. i love becky. oh wait, i already said that. (this is my mom's cue to begin her hysteria.) ANYWAY. oh, i bought 2 cute tops and a lil skanky skirt that really isn't all that skanky. i could have gone for REALLY skanky skirts (that were sooo cute) but i didn't think i'd wear them in public. besides, NO ONE LOVES MY ASS. *tear* omg someone (i think it was ali or sarah) was like 'WOW, YOUR ASS IS FLAT!!' the other day. it was very sad.
went to see sleeping beauty (featuring our own alison and ruthie!) with nicole and sarah. twas fun. we bugged the people around us by saying skanky things and laughing quietly. nicole kept whispering funny stuff to me throughout the ballet. and then we guessed which classes each group was from. *sigh*
I MISS DANCING!! WAHHHH!!!
and omg james is hot. EAT ME. yeah. and prince desire was just so DESIREABLE. except not really. it was great.
and now i have idina menzel and christin chennoweth stuck in my head. quick! which musical is that? WICKED! (no, that's the name of the musical. HA.)
i'd better get to sleep. must read scripture in church tomorrow with the *evil* pastor. ha. don't tell anyone i said that. i might go to hell. NOT. ha. i am loved in thy sight. how nice. now may i please find a date to prom...like ANY prom? thanks.

dreams vs. reality
what a topic. but i'm not sure i'll get into that. it'd be a fun conversation...i'll dip into it just a touch. it's really interesting to me who the PEOPLE are that enter my dreams. especially guys. (big surprise, there.) i wonder if it's just my train of thought floating apon subjects that cause me to relate to the guy in my dreams. what i wonder is, what if the things i do in my dreams are things i specificially wished to have done...? it amuses me greatly how the people i interact with on a regular basis in my daily life differs from those i encounter in my dreams. maybe i'll post this as a topic on the forum. my first topic! haha.
well, on to current events. i'm sure you just LOVE hearing about my life. i sure do. *insert sarcasm here*
monday: slept in, watched tv, and studied bio.
tuesday: slept in, watched tv, studied for bio, got my teeth x-rayed (wisdom teeth), and had a horseback riding lesson. there weren't any jumps in the arena left from the show so it was sort of poopy. we did no-stirrup work and went over a 1 stride like 50 times.
wednesday: woke up at like 11. HA! and thought something like 'SHIT! I HAVE TO BE DOWNTOWN IN AN HOUR AND A HALF!' met ali and sarah downtown and hung out. we looked at stuff in tiedown and ate yummy food. first we had fish n chips, then a frappeccino, and then frozen yogurt. mmm...we also spent like an hour at los altos card and party, staring at cards and them being embarassed while i said 'sex' in a very loud voice in front of old ladies. lol! then we looked at charms and jewelry, and then decided that if i didn't make invitations now, i never will for my VERY belated 15th birthday party. sooo...spent like an hour staring at all of the pretty paper and arguing, not being able to use the calculators on our cell phones to figure out how much it would cost, counting how many people were to be invited, etc. as we were saying all of the names, this cute old lady comes up to us and is like 'i'm about to have my first grandchild. i hope it's a girl, so could you write all of those names down? they're so pretty!' we couldn't tell if she was serious or not, so we didn't. after many cute cell phone pictures, many arguments, and a lot of fun, we bought the paper and went back to ali's house to make the cards. we ended up just talking and dancing and such. it was fun! finally ali had to kick us out because of her dress rehearsal, though. :0(
thursday: my day of fun with louise!! got up and went downtown with louise!! we stopped at the ususal louise and the gang stops: jamba juice and posh. i'd never been in posh before, but it was cool! i got a pizza bagel, inspired by sarah who bought one when we were downtown some other time. then louise and i ranted about anti-women essays at pinewood and track people. fun stuff. we eventually walked to her house and yeah. there was this guy staring at louise's ass (in her skanky shorts...which aren't nearly as skanky as MINE!!) so i happened to turn around...and guess who it was? HAHAHA. let's say that now i have an excuse for mr. shaull. i saw him, he's fine, so i don't have to do something with him. HA. whoo that was great. anyways. louise and i then proceeded to sniff paint fumes (her room had just been painted...it's really pretty!!) and look at egan yearbooks and talk about people. yay! we then looked at iTunes and listened to music. heehee. decided to see starsky and hutch and then went! yay! movies! i ate more yummy food and we were greatly amused by the movie. i'm sure we didn't get like 75% of the jokes because we'd never seen the original starsky and hutch before, but yeah. it was pretty cute.
*break to listen to rhapsody in blue and think that it is the coolest jazz song EVER.*
so then my mom drove louise and i home and yeah. i did more bio and listened to music and read and such.
friday: got up again, like one hour before i had to be at ali's house, and then changed into my bathing suit to go. oh, and found my mom's glue gun. (costume emergency.) so yeah, got to ali's house, hung out with sarah and ali more, and made the invitations! yay! they're really cute. well, you'll most likely see one. there's 20 people total, including me. but enough about possible exclusion. then we hot tubbed (yay!) and talked some more. after a while we were all really hot and hungry, so we made annie's mac n cheese!! yummmm!! i swear, i was sooo excited. then we talked more and fought over the star puncher-outer. LOL!! oh and we danced a lil and ali made fun of my taste in music. SHUT UP! haha. so now we're doing the dance to 'conga' and yeah! whoo! i'm excited. sarah and i eventually had to leave again, because i had a horseback riding lesson. sarah came, and then we realized that i actually DIDN'T have a lesson. grr. but i got to practice ride anyways. sarah coached me. :0D heehee. then we went home and sarah read the journal that's between ali and i when we were being bitchy and yeah. i showered and washed my hair. then we drank jamba juices and went to my friend mary's ice show. it was really good!! it's exactly like a showtime (dance) show, but on ice. there's cute little kids and sorta good 10-ish year olds and really good older ppl. mary (she's from the barn) was in the top group. very spiffy. the theme was 'broadway on ice' so i was like HOW COOL IS THIS?!?! every song was from a musical...:0D it was great fun with sarah and bonnie. then we talked to mary after the show and had a WONDERFUL conversation about their bad habits. hehe...i love those two! sarah and i mainly laughed and stuff. it was fun. then my mom drove us home and i texted my dad about lunch today and then went to bed. *yawn*
and now i'm up, ready, and my dad's gonna pick me up in like 15 mins to go eat at the cheesecake factory. yummmm... so anyway, i'm like 40 pages behind in bio (oopsies!) so i guess i'll do that this afternoon before sleeping beauty with sarah (featuring ali!) at 7:30. fun stuff!
off to eat and stuff! bye!

i'm so lucky!! :0D
i hadn't thought that i'd have such good luck! the day after i decided to move on, someone IMs me and we end up flirting online quite a bit! then, as he's off college searching and i happen to be drooling and squealing over a picture of someone, that very someone IMs me to see how i'm doing! and then, after my horseback riding lesson, an unknown person IMs me, daring me to guess who he is, and it turns out to be one of my good friends from church who's starring in the musical this year! yay!

I DON'T WANT TO STUDY OVER SPRING BREAK!!
it's not fair!! my biology SAT II is in 2 weeks! NOOOOOOOOOO!! i don't want to learn about cellular respiration and organic chemistry and all that other stuff i never bothered to learn! i have to learn 26 pages of the stuff per day to finish by sunday! ugh! i'm taking the molecular test (as apposed to ecology). in my prep book, the molecular section is 91 pages long and the ecology is 15. DOES THIS SEEM FAIR TO YOU?!?! *tear*
oh well. it'll give me something to do. otherwise i'll be bored out of my mind.
my weekend was cool, though!
saturday: studied for the SAT II, washed my hair, and partied with friends! we went to santana row and ate dinner at a YUMMY pizza place and then saw thoroughly modern millie at amtsj. :0) then we ate yummy chocolate and cream cake from max's (oh yeah, i hafta plan a bday party...) and watched snl until about 1:30.
sunday: woke up at 7:30 and was off to the horse show. bullpenned ivy and waited for casey to ride dante (very uncusseccfully....you have to get the horse GOING to jump the fences, even if they ARE only 1'6''...) so i could hop on. warmed dante up, went over some fences in the warm-up ring (BEAUTIFULLY) and waited. rode my first two classes, hopped off and gave dante to monkey (aka sara...there's like 5 sara(h)s at my barn) and got ivy. hopped on ivy, rode around, took a few warm up fences and rode my second 2 classes.
then i rested. well, until mary came. then i helped her sign up for classes and get richmond. THEN i rested.
tacked up ivy again and rode my lil hunter hack class. i was sooo lazy.
here's the lowdown on ribbons:
Warm Up Hunters-2' 5th (Dante)
Novice Hunters-2'-2'3'' 4th (Dante)
Novice Equitation Over Fences-2'-2'3'' didn't place (Ivy)
Open Equitation-2'3''-2'6'' 5th (Ivy)
Open Hunter Hack-2'3'' 6th (Ivy)
I SOO did not deserve to place in open eq. i was sooo tired and my equitation was CRAP. ha. go figure. there were like 15 ppl in the class too. i was so proud of my horseys though!! it was dante's first show and he's usually all pissy when he has to go alone. both ivy and dante hate scary looking fences and they were both so good! :0D
then i had my clarinet lesson, choir, and youth group.
Jerry finally announced the cast list for the musical!! yay!!
I am: Kezzy not that that means a thing to you. LOL!
I open the show (yay!) and have like half of a song, plus a few solos here and there. here's the parts:
Kezzy: Kezziah Wesley, the youngest Wesley sister (Me)
Hetty: Mehetebel Wesley, later an author (Courtney)
Suzanna: Mother of them all (Christina)
John: John Wesley, called "Jack" by his family and friends (Andrew)
Charles: One of the most famous hymn writers of all time (Kyle)
Sophy: American lady, courted by John (singing role only) (Annie)
so that's that. ummm *yawn*. how bout i NOT study? okay. ugh.

wow, i haven't updated in a while!
so...today was the day of silence honoring the ignorance of people towards gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders. how come i wasn't told this before 5 minutes into 1st period?!? well, i was pretty silent. i slipped up during lunch and said, on average, 5 words/phrases per class. after school i totally blew it, seeing as it was my last horseback riding lesson before the show on sunday. oh well. next year i'll be better.
now i'll review my week.
monday: a pretty typical monday. yup.
tuesday: actually DID homework after horseback riding!! organized binders, studied, and cracked open my SAT II book. i was so proud...:-)
wednesday: not the best day. my cell phone was stolen second period and we had to watch MSS leave during fourth. *tear* considering what a crappy day it was, i really wasn't too phased. i was uncannily calm and collected. weird.
thursday: spent time revising my essay (yay for me!) and went shopping!! got some *ahem* stuff... ended up getting $26 back when i exchanged my american eagle shirt!! WOOHOO!
friday (today): tried to be silent, turned in my essay, horseback riding, home. *yawn*
oh, and i got a new cell phone on wendesday afternoon-- we couldn't cancel the service without a continually active phone. IT'S SOOOO COOOL!!! i don't need a phone this sophisticated. it's color, has a camera, can log onto AIM and the internet, (i can check my e-mail on it!!) has covers that you can MAKE, and has funky games and stuff. it's pretty darn spiffy. i felt really guilty getting a neato cell phone right after mine was stolen.
number's the same, 823-1137. call me! text me! (my answering machine is SOOO dumb right now, and i haven't figured out how to change it yet...*blushes*)
sooo...should have an exciting spring break swimming, dancing, hanging out with anyone who wants to (oh, and someone who probably doesn't want to...*rplls eyes*) and studying for the biology SAT II. joy.
well, i'm glad i have a break; i'm sleepy.

Song: Younger Than Springtime Lyrics
Cable:
I touch your hands
And my heart goes strong,
Like a pair of birds
That burst with song.
My eyes look down
At your lovely face,
And I hold a world
In my embrace.
Younger than springtime, are you
Softer than starlight, are you,
Warmer than winds of June,
Are the gentle lips you gave me.
Gayer than laughter, are you,
Sweeter than music, are you,
Angel and lover, heaven and earth,
Are you to me.
And when your youth
And joy invade my arms,
And fill my heart as now they do,
Then younger than springtime, am I,
Gayer than laughter, am I,
Angel and lover, heaven and earth,
Am I with you!
And when your youth
And joy invade my arms,
And fill my heart as now they do,
Then younger than springtime, am I,
Gayer than laughter, am I,
Angel and lover, heaven and earth,
Am I with you.
