Midlake is so relaxing. Not put-me-to-sleep relaxing like Sigur Ros, just... ahhh, I am calmed down.

This Lent has me thinking a lot about what my life should be all about...

i am wanting to be real... i suppose i don't know what that means even... Well, you gotta have people to be real with. Sigh, life life life.

sorry about being in a bad mood lately, i will get over it.

OK, since millions have asked, here is how my weekend went:

Friday: played Halo 2, surfed the net, chilled.

Saturday: finished scholarship portfolio (finally) and sent it in, went out to lunch at Qdobas with Grandpa, downloaded Beneath a Steel Sky and played that until bedtime

Sunday: church, funeral visitation for my great uncle, search for ID card, writing practice, surfing the net

Not so exciting. I'm excited about next weekend though, I have new friends now and we will hang out together.

what more should i search for i cried, but found that my tongue was so swollen with pride that it would not come, and my hands were so calloused with greed that i could not bow

y'all suck, why did i get stuck with such crap for friends. don't expect to see me around much anymore.

i am home alone all night tonight, does someone want to do something

well guess what i got out of school today and went to the tree and there was NOBODY THERE BUT ME AND KELLY! That's right, all of y'all were either watching porn or out being moody, leaving me and Kelly to freeze until our buses come because we're not dumb enough to submit to society's demend for us to consume everything and drive our cars! Therefore we are the only cool ones. Kelly and I are starting the official cool club. The only people in it are her and me BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE IN THIS TOWN IS COOL NOT EVEN YOU!!! Cool people do not ditch their friends for capricious reasons! Me and Kelly, we stick by each other, we do not let the other go down no siree, because we stick by each other that's right that's what friends do! I wonder if any of you even have friends. Such sad, sad, white suburbians, only caring about yourselves and who you're gonna [euphemism].

How do I become cool, you ask? All you need to do is get to know at least five black people, find friends to stick with through and through and you're in*! It is easy. You can do it and it will be fun!

I hate it when people make my life out to be dreary and depressing! Darn you, Sufjan Stevens!

Dylan was right, though, that guy is a genious.

i had the awesomest weekend ever. There was lots of cool stuff, like falling alseep to Sigur Ros in the middle of a snow-covered pine forest, surrounded by my brothers and staying up late talking and laughing and destoying bunk beds... or going on a trail ride throught the snow pulled by two horses, listening to the sleigh bells... or going tubing down a hill with bunch of middle schoolers... or trudging through a field of snow at night, and looking up at the moon and the stars. But I think the best part was realizing again how awesome God is.

I am grounded from the computer for two weeks, but it is nice to be. I have been reading a lot lately, it is filling my mind with dreams. It is also nice to not be reminded about how you guys all do stuff with eachother all the time and do not think I am cool enough to hang out with you.

It does not matter. I have friends in other places that care for me, which is why I will be unavailable the following weekends. Have fun amongst yourselves, hope y'all have had a good snowday.

PS Do not get the wrong impression, I care for you guys. I am just confused about your actions.
